i joined 3 other random people online and we tackled the final boss. sadly one of us was lost in the fight but the other 3 managed to survive. this game is really good.
ok so let me get the story straight -2009 The FBI Shoots down Alien Hominid's Ship and crashes but not before an emergency distress signal is put out to the mothership (a literal mama ship) the entire events of Alien Hominid ensue the 4 kids ride of in the truck but 1 got stuck by the seatbelt and was captued by the government -2009 (post alien hominid) to 2023 (pre invasion) the Alien and the 3 kids enjoyed some space adventures while the 4th was turned and trained into the General some time before Alien Hominid: Invasion the 3 kids (now adults and buff, i'll call them Lad) & the OG Alien came back 1 of which became Large Lad of the Street Kids (ik they were called the Fat kids & the Sewer kids in the past) and the other 2 are just around Meanwhile the Russians had gone to space and found the Grandmother ship (the literal Grandma ship) and the 2 hit it off invading, conqurring, and destroying entire star systems -2023 The Mothership now Arives on earth and now the events of Invasion happen (war, the common people are turned into soldiers willingly or not and the mothership is being taken over by the grandmother ship) the street kids wanting to fight back against the gov. (against the wishes of Large Lad) grab the guns and the mothership (now taken over by the Grandmother ship) sees them as threats and wants them GONE. Que Final boss and the mothership is back to normal, the aliens and the Agents make peace and the other 2 lads + OG Alien Hominid pump ice cream into the pipe system hand then head off back into space cut forward to the grandmother ship & the russians going off to conqure more worlds did i miss anything Important?
Grand mothership is one of the definitions of bullet hell platformers. You shoot many bullets and when you hit, there are more particles + the boss also attacks with many particles which makes you really wanna keep an eye out. Just a shame that this is also the only fight without a healthbar, but the glass makes up for it:D
all the bosses were so good, though i was a bit sad when all of the bosses after installball_b (except for the grand mothership) had no 2nd phase, but i can deal with that. i really wish there was a of boss rush
I'm kinda curious, but what if you spares the FBI Agent who guarding the boss fight arena? Does this actually making the secret Juiceman fight doesn't happen? You can just straight up walk through them then enter the door when one of them laughs, shocked that you jump over the wall, attempting using the rng based launcher and trying to stand up after fall from his failed mech.
i spared all of them in my playthrough. in the room where the boss fight is supposed to happen there are agents walking with their heads down (they lost their jobs?) one of them gets mad and walks into some kind of mutation machine that turns him into juiceman

I'm pretty sure the juiceman is an Important assassination target even if the fight didn't happen cause he would be to power to be kept alive and From what I know sparing the guards doesn't change anything

I could be wrong here, but I don't think the planets were destroyed by The Russians and The Grand Mothership. At the end of Pit People, Honey Kiss destroys a lot of planets using Hatty's Hat Laser... Thing. Maybe from there, the Russians saw what was left and decided to conquer the now destroyed planets? Idk, I could be wrong by the time the next game releases.
The game happens after the first Alien Hominid game. The yellow alien we see in the intro before the tutorial is the protagonist of the first game. After the others see that he got hit, they go towards earth, but it would take 19 years to get into the planet. Meanwhile the Alien from the intro falls into the city, gets his ship taken and gets it back, only for it to get down once again. He goes into the russia, takes the ship back and gets captured by the Area 51 staff. He gets free and fights another one of his species, which is the Alien Prisoner from Castle Crashers. He beats him but gets tired, the kids get him and put him on his ship, after that, he gets off the planet. Then after 16 years, The Mothership makes it into the earth
Ok. Well i have less understanding of this game series now. Never got to beat the flash versions of the games due to bad comps and thought this would be a "same story better graphics" remake and now im more confused......
I just love those endings where the aliens and FBI agents reconcilliate and end their war. That would be fun that in a DLC, you can controle a FBI agent againt the Soviets (well, conquerants actually because the way the act are definatly not part of the comunism ideology).
