The reason is simple, In march, they sent an update that caused problems in tablet mode. This is so easy. There is nothing more to do here that is just close to your phone and power off and back on. That is the fix. Do your update with the phone closed. I followed all these directions 5 times, and each time, I had to go to verizon. They fixed it and I came home. By accident today, I found the answer. I closed the phone because I was about to throw it and as soon as it closed the word phablet hit me between the eyes. I left the phone closed and powered off and back on as perfect as can be. Thank you for your video because yours was the only one on here that actually addresses something. Verizon said it is great you have insurance. I wanted to whack him because a $300 copay is not something to celebrate. However, for this one just close the phone.
I upgraded my Z Flip for the Flip 4 some months ago and this was stuck in boot mode....or Safe Mode. The Samsung help desk didn't give me much advice and so I eventually sent it back and received a refund. Now, my Z Flip has started shutting down when the phone is folded down. It doesn't shut down when it's connected to a power supply? Any ideas please?
@powpow6446 I didn't find out, I upgraded to the Z flip 4. My faith in the phone was shaken considering what they cost and I hope the same thing doesn't happen to this one. Maybe a flip of old style but with the latest tech would be a better idea? Time will tell. Hope you get yours sorted.
Got this exact phone had it about a year. I've tried everything. But mines a little different my phone keeps turning off every time I flip it down? Can anyone help cheers
@@chauhan.razz1 honestly no. We went to T-Mobile but because my girlfriend is technically under Sprint still. They said she had to contact Samsung. She never has

This trick actually works for other phones too. It may not be the volume down + power button combination, but whatever combination of keys you have to press to show the shutdown/reboot screen. Just keep holding onto that and it will hard reboot the phone as well. I tried this on my OnePlus phone, which is actually volume up + power button, but it works.

I couldn't get to the screen where I could wipe the cache partition. it boots again in less than 15 secs. please help 😢

Does this work for other galaxy z flip phones
There are only 2 galaxy flips and both are sim lair but one has about 10 seconds boot time and the other has a out 30 second boot time.

My wife's a flip 3 is stuck in safe mode and when she tries to unlock it the phone reactivates the lock screen asking for her passcode or swipe code
