Thank you so much - just started to notice the matted hair by my daughter's 6-month-old Cavalier baby. Your video is helpful and informative with links provided to set up all of your viewers. Thanks again:)!!
Chris Christensen Ice on Ice is one of the best products you can use for avoiding mats too. If you spritz it on the trouble spots and just let it dry, then comb...mat free.
I really want a dog especially cavalier King Charles Spaniel luckily we will be moving house!! Hopefully then I can get one so I’m starting my research now!!
Thank you for not shaving!! Shaving isn’t recommended for this breed. It’s a double coated breed. The hair follicles can be damaged plus the coat is designed to regulate temperature! Also, I bought a grooming table on Amazon and it’s a gam changer for brushing hair, teeth and clipping nails!
You’re absolutely right!! They have beautiful coats and it would be a shame to shave it down. I also have a table for Slater but I’m currently in the process of getting him used to it because he wants to lay down on it and take a nap lol.

Thank you for the tips! I’m definitely going to try that conditioner and spray for Abra. She gets awful little mats behind her ears & her butt!
The ones behind the ear seems like they pop up almost over night don't they.
I highly recommend it! Those knots just pop out of nowhere overnight.

@@SydneyFrancia that’s too funny! Mine is a wiggle worm. I bought an extra loop to hold her in place. If I try to brush her any other time she’s wild!
