      Democracy….. ahhh. Don’t you just LOVE IT ! ? A land where government DOES what the people actually NEED & WANT ! You NEVER had that mate. Never will. You have the wrong political system. Maybe it was a good idea 300 years ago, but not for today nor tomorrow. It generally attracts the wrong sort of people for a start!. Essentially “salesmen” who try to persuade and bribe you that their ideas are great! All parties do the same. The notion that the PEOPLE HAVE CLEAR NEEDS is not even considered - UNLESS it’s seen as a vote winner. Also the notion that “competition” yields the best results - rather than cooperation - is also well past its use-by date. You need a “National Register” of the nations NEEDS. Yes, the Nation, not some privileged fat elites. When you Got the National Register THEN the whole of parliament can create polices to IMPLEMENT the nation’s needs - here, we call it RD Real Democracy. All hands to the pump. Effective efficient cooperation. No more backstabbing. No more childish destructive schoolyard competition. JUST PROGRESS LIKE YOU NEVER SEEN BEFORE . Certainly a BETTER WAY for the Nation. (Unless of course you are already part of the 1% thriving and thieving elite , then yes, you will experience a relative decline in your unwarranted privilege and decadence).

BECAUSE…You have the WRONG political system. Maybe it was a good idea 300 years ago, but not for today nor tomorrow. It generally attracts the wrong sort of people for a start!. I mean, just look at their schoolyard behaviour where “point scoring” put-downs of other elected members of parliament is considered a “win”! Essentially most of them are “bully salesmen” who try to persuade and bribe you, that ONLY THEIR ideas are great (vote for MEEEE). Sadly, ALL parties do the same - Was designed to be like that !! The notion that ALL the PEOPLE HAVE CLEAR NEEDS is not even considered!!. Another childhood dream is that “Competition” yields the best results! This has some truth, but only in the very short term!. COOPERATION YIELDS THE BEST CONTINUOUS SUSTAINABLE IMPROVEMENTS. JUST PROGRESS LIKE YOU’VE NEVER SEEN BEFORE .
      Establish a national “Register of Visions” summarising the Will of the People. (Health, Housing, Education, Employment, Crime & Safety, Drugs, Immigration, Taxation, Societal Cohesion, Foreign Affairs, Welfare, Trade & Industry, etc etc ). A register Established at census time for each Voter - with real-time Web access for timely updates like Gaza, Ukraine etc etc ad nauseam. And don’t worry, AI will make short work of creating a succinct coherent unambiguous statement of requirements from the millions of Vision submissions! Certainly a BETTER WAY for the Nation. (Unless of course you are already part of the 1% thriving/thieving elite , then yes, you will experience a relative decline in your unwarranted privilege, decadence and legalised theft!).
      At the moment, China looks remarkably democratic when compared with you lot !

      To all the less aware on here, just because you live abroad doesn’t mean you don’t pay UK tax, and if you pay UK tax you should have a say on the future of the country. Secondly a lot of ex-pats tend to be reasonably well off so the Conservatives are hardly going to stop them voting eh? They need every vote this time. Thirdly some of us moved with our jobs in the great Engineering sell-off by Thatcher and Major and will most probably return when we retire. Loud alarm bells should be ringing about Mark Carney's appointment by Labour leader Kier Starmer.
    Mark Carney is the UN's Special Envoy for Climate Action and Finance, he is also a supporter and notable speaker at Davos.
    Couple this appointment to when Kier Starmer was asked, by Emily Maitlis during a televised interview, "what would you choose Westminster or Davos", Kier Starmer replied Davos.
    This is not good for this Nation.
    Carney is reported to have said for every £1 raised by Labour, he will raise £3 of private finance, this is in relation to Labours shaky policy on Climate Change/Net Zero.
    Who will end up running this country, Labour, NO.
    It will be a consortium of UN, WHO, WEF, EU and Davos members, the main players in globalism/world control, The control of people, Land, sea's, animals, plants and minerals, exactly what the UN has advised governments since their introduction of Global warming, (now Climate Change), during their 1992 Rio Summit.
    This is dangerous for this country, for its free people, for now, thanks to Labour.

      @@ianHolmes-up2oc Original Labour, I agree but consider the last New Labour government. They introduced minimum wage which many people had their pay cut to the minimum, employers saying “that’s all we have to pay now”. The minimum wage has been devise as it is used as a yardstick for many of the lower skilled jobs. This has resulted in families being granted benefits to make their income commensurate for homing, heating and feeding their family. This has resulted in the tax payer subsidising business that could well pay considerably more to their workers but instead give handsome bonuses to the management and share holders, while still holding on to profit (bad capitalism). Zero hour contracts came in with New Labour. The Middle East destabilised with many thousands of deaths and this has contributed to the illegal immigration. I have been a Union member since 1967 and women have still not equal pay in many organisations. They did not build enough houses, leading to the housing shortages we see today. Brown sold off the gold cheap! Check the price of gold now and think what we would have had backing up the economy. Brown sent large sums of money to China (a massively booming economy as he said many Chinese were not seeing the fruits of their booming economy - by the way, we had people living on the streets in this country unable to access help. Have you ever been to see what real poverty is? I grew up in 50s and everyone had nowhere near the standard of living you have now but continue to moan about. No car, fridge, freezer, no washing machine, no tv, no phone, no central heating, no fitted carpets, no free NHS, no benefits, no takeaways, and a week in a tent if you were lucky enough to afford it. Yet strangely, no kids went without food or hungry and people still paid their rent! But of course, that was before nail bars, tattoo artists, drugs, and paying cleaners, child minders, Netflix, laptops, mobiles, vast amounts of clothes and shoes and getting their hair done, foreign holidays in hotels and a car each! Benefits are so high, people have now made it a lifestyle which the rest if us pay for! My mother slept 4 in a bed with no bathroom and only an outside toilet. No heating, hot water, or anything else. Her mother was a WW1 widow and bought up 7 kids on her own with no benefits or free healthcare. None of the children got into trouble with law and none ever went hungry! Real problem is that people would rather spend money on luxuries than food and rent! Especially as now everyone else happily feeds their kids at school, and through food banks. Too lazy to cook and still have tattoos, nails done etc., smoke and drink and have wrong priorities!

    • @audreyblack8629
      @audreyblack8629 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Sounds like what happens under Communism which all these stupid woke lefties are so keen on, clearly they know nothing about Rumania and the state it was in under communism and even decades later, is still trying to repair. Cannot understand that unless you reward people with a better life through working, then they wonder why they bother. Neither that if some people did not have more money, they couldn't open a business and there would be no jobs for anyone! No one would risk losing their savings to open a business unless they made a better living from doing so. Mihht as well just put it into the bank. But Liebour and lefties hate those who manage to save a bit through hard work and throw more and more at those who don't. The really stupid even seem to believe that people who work hard somehow get money from a money tree to which they have no access. My parents slept 4 to a bed as kidsI I am proud to have worked and studied hard to make my way from lower working class to middle class. But so many who are actually middle class in their lifestyle, seem so proud to still hang on to the 'working class ' badge of honour! Still the same mentality about the 'money-growing tree' that only others have access to. I might say we have always done our own painting, decorating, home improvements ourselves including putting in central heating, garden, housework and everything else. I still don't have a mobile phone either, a Netflix or Amazon account, have never had my nails done, no tattoos, and cook from scratch. In other words, we still don't waste money on things we can do ourselves! People are so ignorant about how economies work and who oays for all the benefits they get!

      Democracy….. ahhh. Don’t you just LOVE IT ! ? A land where government DOES what the people actually WANT & NEED ! Oh dear…You NEVER had that mate. NEVER will.
