In my opinion one of the best songs of the band, and it is very very underrated
.......so in other words, it's quite underrated.........
Agreed so is Messi. Extremely underrated
It is? I got their first album back when it was released, and these are the only songs i've ever heard of them. This one and green eyes are my favourites. And a rush of blood of course
Same for don't panic... I don't dislike the band now but too mainstream IMO
@@MrDaredevil1998 Messi is the second most praised and loved football player in Earth
This album was littered with incredible songs. When I tell people I like Coldplay I’m referring to this.
exactly. AROBTH literally has no bad song, all of them are top-tier. Same with X&Y and Vila la Vida IMO
post 2008 though.... not so much.
@@TheMarcusNyberg yup, they became too commercial and all there new stuff is literally unlistenable garbage. The second they started leaning more towards being a pop rock band I was done with them.
Yes!!!!!!
@@cheddarandsourcreamI disagree completely 😐
Miss this coldplay
I love all Coldplay music, but I think A Rush of Blood to the Head is their best album. It's fucking awesome.
It's their most critically acclaimed album, it's beautiful and has songs like Clocks, The Scientist, and this underrated beauty
+Batboy Carroll Wasn't VLV bigger? Favourites are still Parachutes and AROBTTH though.
I agree partly on parachutes i f*cking love don't panic
I like a rush of blood to the head parachutes and mylo xyloto
Absoutely right bro
I think this is my favorite Coldplay song. The rythm.. the moment the drum kicks in.. the lead guitar.. Chris’ voice.. and of course guy’s briljant bass line.. It is one big rush until the end. The energy and emotions are just contagious.
*one big rush of blood to the head until the end.
Me too.
What you said. And the lyrics are a perfect fit. Quite a trip.
Amen 👍
The same could be said about many different Coldplay songs... more, according to your mood
I miss this version of the band, back when they just made fantastic, original and organic alternative rock music.
Same
Time evolves mate, if you stay the same, you'll expire.
@@FaxtronMusic If you’re talking about bands evolving, i.e. changing their sound over time, yes I completely agree. All artists should try to do something different from what they and everyone else have done previously.
And that’s where Coldplay has failed - what they have evolved into is hideous, generic and frustratingly uninspired.
To use your word, the only things that’s expired here is Coldplay’s creative impetus.
Coldplay put a smile upon my face.
very well said 🙌🏼🙌🏼

Lol yes, gladly I was
Neither was I but I'm listening to them now :D
lol I was born in 2005 haha
you underestimate the core fans... so many old heads love these guys
1992 woohoo
Miss the old Coldplay, this video is the best Radiohead moment of Coldplay
I am 15 years old and from Argentina, and yesterday I finished hearing absolutely all coldplay music, all the albums, singles and EPs.
I think the sadder songs like this or ,for example X and Y, are the best. The vibe that they transmit with this kind of songs is awesome, they really touch you and make feel something different as the "happier songs" that everyone is now hearing. That's my reflection after really have heard Coldplay. Bye, and stay safe.

In my opinion, this is the best Coldplay song ever! I love it!
I bought the CD just for this song and I don't usually buy pop music, but this one got me from the first time I heard it - such brilliant instrumentation! Playing it loud on a Sunday afternoon!
Nope, Don't Panic is.
I agree with you, this is my favorite Coldplay song 😍🎵
+Dubplate Pearl Coldplay is doing more rock music than pop ;)
yeaa.. i miss the old coldplay

King Viserys!
One of Coldplay's most underrated songs.
No, it's not. I think this song is far from underrated. This is one of their all-time hits. They just don't perform it live very often for some reason.
@@vukasindabovic4238 too religious.
Its my fave. When I see a concert on TV, it rarely features.
Is it me or does this song get better every time I listen to it?

💯👍

yes it gets infinitely better each time I listen.. .this one never gets old!!
It does wear thin😅
This is song has a different vibe about it than other Coldplay songs. Truly an underrated song
Major Minus has a similar feel, in my opinion, but yeah, this one still stands out!

I remember when this album came out, I must have listened to it a million times.....still one of my favorite albums from start to finish!
Who doesn’t appreciate Jonny’s guitar solo it’s so sick
I think the guitar is the best thing of coldplay.
Yepp
its the true
There's no solo, only riffs but they are all goated
For a guy who's one of the primary members of one of the most popular bands in music history, Jonny Buckland remains underrated, his playing is both unique & vital to what his band does.
in my opinion the meaning of the video is - appreciate life, enjoy the smallest things because no matter how hard you work in the end we all dissappear from the face of the earth
It's true man, apreciate every moment
+MIM M and go to nothingness for an eternity! Its kind of scary to think about it.
+Simon0 as epicurus said where there is life there is no death and where death exists life is no more. so its pointless to fear death or non fui, fui, non sum, non curo
you're right! i guess there was an eternity of nothingnes before this birth and i got through that so it should be the same after i die. still though from this conscious mind the idea of nothingness for eternity does bother me.
+MIM M Your children wil still be here, though, so don't live like there is no tomorrow!
This NEEDS a 4k restoration! Epic video. Epic song.
Paddy Considine really has been an unsung actor. He also did in America around this time and thats a phenomenal performance of sadness and hope as one of many trying to succeed in NYC. Glad hes getting more international recognition in House of the Dragon.
King Viserys! what are you doing here 😮🤣 Love this song 💙
Coldplay 2000 alternative rock
Coldplay 2010 pop rock
Coldplay 2020 pop
+Eletronic
They were never alternative rock, alternative implies they do things differently, they've always been a pop group, they just actually tried at the beginning of their career
They "tried" very successfully...
and? they do what they want,
Chatbot rhetoric
Who else is still listening to this absolute masterpiece?
Not me
I am. It's great! The lyrics. The vocals. The guitar. The whole album rocks.

Not you, bot

The sheer variety of Coldplay's music is amazing!
One of the most underrated Coldplay songs and an absolute favourite of mine. They played it at the Melbourne concert yesterday (2nd Nov 2024), never expected them to and it was amazing!

2024 marzo 20: disfrutando de esta canción en los recesos de las clases, una de las tantas canciones preferidas de mi adolescencia. ¡¡¡Coldplay lo mejor!!!
By far Coldplay's best song ever.
One of my favourite songs ever. It is just so powerful! I heard it on the radio and was instantly ecstatic however unhappy my situation was at the time.
The Chorus. Is brilliant. Everyone is on their own spiritual journey, but we should remember that we shouldn't let "life" and it's negative moments consume us. At the end of the day, God put a smile on your face :) I love [the early2000's] Coldplay!
I love Coldplay. Their music is simply awesome. I believe even Paul McCartney has made comments about how impressed he is with this group.
A decade ago, this song saved me when I was down and on the verge of losing it.
It doesn't matter how far you get in live, what matters is the legacy you leave behind cause everybody dies but some stay in our minds and heart forever, memories that never fade
This song and "Yes" are to of the most under appreciated songs
Reza Michael Agreed
I would add Shiver to the list. that song is amazing
I like all their styles, even th new ones, but the first ones are best >w
Every single song on their albums, a blood to the head and parachutes is under appreciated

Now THIS is a music video that deserves a 4K remaster
Coldplay looks pretty badass in this one!
+Simone Ventimiglia hey man cool first name! good job.

There's a dark atmosphere to the sound which is unusual for coldplay but I absolutely love it!
Masterpiece.

The gun that YoonJi had in her backpack that is a "long" name
theninjararar what radiohead song do you think it's ripping off?
taliwakka27 It's not a ripoff, Radiohead gave Coldplay permission to use their melody for this song.
Listened to all of Coldplay's hits today, and this one didn't age at all! Super fresh! Love Chris Martin more than ever.
I have no words. Just absolute love. I love this band for singing and playing their hearts out every time. The most beautiful music to my ears.
I never would have imagined that I would hear this song live. Can't stop thanking my fortune.
Lucky you!
Devika Nair I feel you. They haven't played GPASUYF since 2017 and now Colplay performed it in their first World Tour 2022 concert in18 March, and was amazing. The best song ever, really fortunate.
damn, it went from a rush of blood to the HEAD to a HEAD full of dreams. Really shows how far they've come, from more dark and serious songs to fun, light hearted music which fills me with life. Great stuff!
Remember when music videos told a definite story? Man, I miss those days...This video (and song) was always one of my favorites. It says a lot in only five minutes.
their most underrated single
And Don't Panic
Violet hill is also kinda underrated
@Space Symphony up with the birds
Like for real.
All Coldplay is the best, I don’t want my band doing the same music all the time, roll on the Coldplay journey
0:01 Just with that solo he won my heart.
One of the best Coldplay songs without a doubt!!!
Definitely one of their best tracks from that early album. Absolute banger!
The symbolism in this is the man never appreciated everything he had. He was a businessman that worked hard to get to where he was but never smiled once
John Edward most buisnessmen have no appreciation for love or life. Which is why the fate that befell the man in this video will befall them soon.
Nobody truely reaches the top unless they've been to the bottom.
John Edward What if actually, smiling would cure him from the curse, but him in all of his character, never even thought of smiling just once before dying?
I'd hate to have that kind of a curse where my body parts disappear.
John Edward haha yeah, me too
Daniel Cannata That is the deepest and most powerful phrase I've ever heard in my life,"Nobody truly reaches the top unless they've been to the bottom," I'm not even being sarcastic.
I honestly think every Coldplay song is spectacular. All of their songs are amazing in their own way. 🤍
This is peak Coldplay
This song is amazing, i don't know what is going on my heart but since i started listening to it my life has completely changed... i know the song is quite old but it just melts my heart, i adore the way Chris sings this song, the whole rhythm is just out of this world.... i will be the happiest woman at your concert in Bogotá, next April 13, see you at the front line my dear and dearest musicians who let the world know the revolutionary power of music!!!
