  • Test of the E-twow booster s+ / booster v
    Reviewed by www.orstep.com
NOTE: the booster S+ ist the same scooter as the booster V, only difference is the battery capacity (+25% for the V), creating a higher range. The difference in top speed and acceleration is barely noticeable

Max speed 40, max autonomy around 35 - 40 km.
Take a note that after 25 kph, the speedometer is going up to fast.
For example, until 25 kph, that speed is real, if u have more than 50% battery, but when u are 44 kph in speedometer, that means u are at 36 kph for real.
I have 30.000 km done with my booster 5, is the best electric scooter at 10 kg.
    Cool vid bud

Thanks for the nice vid! I have a m365 myself but I am seriously considering the etwow because of the front and rear suspension. I be read and heard that the suspension should give better shock absorption than m365s air tires, but I heard you saying youd prefer the m365 for comfort? Like to hear your opinion. Thanks

Rosario, it depends what roads you do. If you do asphalt and even pavé, I would prefer the Etwow above anything else. Belgian pavé is certainly acceptable to do, but not optimal. The m365/Mija feels more comfortable with the air tires, but unlike the Egret (and Etwow to a lesser extent), which are made to cope, the m365/Mija chassis and electronics suffer clearly as well and are not built to do this often.

You do realize you could buy 3 of the 365's for the price of one of these Boosters right? You're comparing apples and oranges.

I have both of these. I realise that this info is probably too late to help you but it may help others.
Last March I wanted to get an escooter to travel to work on. 3 miles each way.. I did my research, and picked the M365. Best bang for buck, no other reason than it would get me there and home again quicker than public transport.
M365 is comfortable, not heavy, range of (allegedly) 18 miles. Pneumatic tyres..no suspension needed.....until you get 2 punctures and replace them with solids. THEN you really notice the bumps.
THEN, 5 months in, the battery starts to let you down, range decreases dramatically, down to 6 miles..
THEN you decide to buy a new scooter.
      Research time again.
      Bought the Etwow GT+
Big battery, solid tyres (YES! No punctures to mend)
Suspension that really works. I mean that, it REALLY works well. The same ride comfort as the M365 with the added bonus of knowing that you NEVER gonna get a puncture!
      Fast as a fast thing!
Ok, bit more expensive, like nearly 3 times the price 1100 quid, but, knowing what I know now (and I COULD have afforded it back then) I would have bought this one.
      Absolutely loving it.
      Hope that helped.

LOL, long time since I've been in the US, but guess it's the Flemish accent you heard? Hope you have fun, let me know if you have Etwow issues, happy to help out.

Is this a safe scooter for a newbie? Is it also safe while driving in the rain and using brakes in city centers? If you have unpredictable weather you can’t always know in advance. Also can you ride a scooter during rush hour with a relatively heavy backpack (laptop, lunch, some tools)? Or would you suggest an electric bike in that case. Range to go 4km.

83kg with clothes I guess and 11kg for the step scooter would equal 94kg. Does that answer your question?

Turbo mode?!? Wtf is that. Max speed is still 30 lol

    • @orstep3785
      @orstep3785  5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

Sebastyan Papp 1 there’s a turbo mode on the booster S+ and the booster V that boosts the top speed to 36km/hr on a full charge and flat terrain, depending on the rider. When the battery is less than 50%, it won’t go much faster then 30km/hr, even on turbo mode...
NOTE: Going beyond 25km/hr is not legal in most countries on public roads, so this can only be used on private property!
