MTV used to play this video all the time when this song came out. This song wasn't slept on, but N.E.R.D as a band certainly was. People expected their sound to be like what they heard in The Neptunes beats. If listeners didn't approach N.E.R.D's music with an open-mind, they were sorely disappointed. @Noobiie69: Pharrell wrote "Happy" for Cee-Lo Green to perform as one of his own songs, but Cee Lo's producers denied the single saying that Green had to focus on his new material. And Pharrell is a ghost writer for MANY people, he doesn't have people write music for him, he writes his own lyrics, always has and always will.
