If you guys have something you want me to explain in a video like this, lemme know! :) Otherwise, I'll just be using servos and stuff to make high voltage experiments more fun.
Tommy Callaway how do you charge the battery pack for the receiver? I have a regular flysky type transmitter that has 6 channels ,and i wanna use servos on all of those channels,so 5 channels left,if you take in account one channel is for the battery pack. I was thinking about using the cheap battery packs that you just replace the battery's in and out of the case, but I wanted somthing with more longevity. Sorry if that's alot.and also is a 6v battery pack good for that amount of servos? Just using a regular easy size servo, nothing special or big.
This video is so helpful. I’m planning on taking apart an rc car for a servo and jerry rigging it to my light switch so I can remotely turn my lights on and off. I hope it works.
Tommy Callaway thanks for the video How to: remote control servos I have a question if you don't mind me asking what device do I need to recharge the Spektrum 900mAh 2S 6.6V Li-Fe Receiver Battery what device do I need at a good price thank you.
My servo doesn't go back to the 0 position like your's did in the video....any tip on how can I fix that? I have TowerPro 9G servo (the common blue one)
The controller and receiver mentioned in the link/video are currently unavailable on Amazon. What is an available alternative? Would that then work the same way as you show in the video?
I’m a little late to this video but oh well. Are you able to have about 5 servos and an esc with a 6 ch remote and receiver and be able to have each button control a different servo
Hi, do you have any recommendations on where I would be able to find a small single channel remote to operate a servo? I'm looking for a remote that would be around the same size as just the thumb throttle from a remote control car remote! Thanks, Jordan
Maybe a little off topic but I see you have a spot welder. Is it 110V? Does it make good welds? I've been wanting to get one but I hear that the 110V spot welders don't make very good welds unless you swap out the transformer for a microwave transformer. Your response is much appreciated.
Hi I like what you do pretty cool I have a question I'm looking for a control module or controller adapter going from they DC motor have it control for steering into the ESC actually wrong my son Power Wheel I have control panel for the radio but I don't have a steering wandering this any bored that will do that thank you
I have a question can i do with a difrent reciver conected to a difrent servo? Because i have etonix reciver and i have a koysho servo and it dosent work can you help me thank you
I would try getting a splitter, or just make your own. :) You can also get a more advanced controller/receiver meant for like drones, and then set up input mixing to have one input control multiple channels.
I have the same question. Hit the button for channel 3, servo goes 60 degrees. Hit it again it goes back to zero degrees. Can this transmitter receiver do that
@@TommyCallaway I didn't think so. Thank you so much for replying. Where did you get your reciever and transmitter for such a good price? I've been on Amazon but haven't found one less than 50. I've gotten a lot of things from Amazon but lately the quality has been crap. For example I bought a pack of 15 lm385 chips and only one worked properly. I've bought aux jacks and they weren't very good either along with other issues I've had lately with buying electronics parts. Hell I bought what was supposed to be a reciever and transmitter from geek .com and only got the reciever. Anyway thank you for the video and I'm looking forward to seeing more of them.

Do you use 5 or 6 volts?
There is so much stuff I didn't know I wanted.................

This is amazing! straight to the point and informative af thanks for this!
You’re welcome :-)
For real tho, you really explained it well.
Thanks bro!
This was a mystery to me until you showed me how!
Thank you!
Love the background music 😁👍
This was super helpful thank you so much 😊
I would love to see a video where you have a 4 channel rf keyfob that can control two mini servo motors say 3 to 5 volts maybe? Thanks
Hi. Thanks for great explanation. What's the approximate range for this thing? I need about 800 feet. Could this go that far?
Great tutorial. When plugging the servo into the receiver, should you always have the yellow cable on the left (as shown in the video)?

I would like to set up a remote control to slide up a bird cage door...where should I start? Door is simple up and down to open and close.
Love it , more education, thanks

Can you modify a servo to work with a remote control for car alarm style with 2 buttons?
Thanks for the video. How would you go about buying just the radio receivers? Are there any places I can look?
I have links to some in the description of this video.. otherwise, maybe check out hobbyking

Can servos speeds also be controlled by an electric speed controller?

Is there a way to use a switch as a radio controller.
hi, what's the best way to control diff motors with different voltage ( 6Vand 12V motors)
Can you use any transmitor from any rc car?
Hello friend..can you teach me how to wiring excavator using receiver and servo..and what should i need to put to run my excavator..please.

How I do control a stand alone servo using a different , for example if I wanted to use a servo to make a winch out of it how can I control it
Can i plug the battery in any port?
This video is a little old, but how would I attach more than one motor to the same input? (trying to make a home-brew RC car)

@@TommyCallaway ah, ok, I was also looking at buying an arduino, but I don't have any software for it...
do the servos need any code?
could you recommend a servo that would work with your setup that does 360 degree rotation and not just 180 degree rotation?
A motor
Can you explain why our radio won’t communicate with the servo?
But how if we want to make the motors go back
How did you get the servo to work on the 3rd channel?
I have the same question. Hit the button for channel 3, servo goes 60 degrees. Hit it again it goes back to zero degrees. Can this transmitter receiver do that
Does the first pin on the receiver were the voltage supply is plugged in have to be connected to anything?
Nope. Just positive and negative pins. The third wire is for signal, and isn’t used on the battery.

@@randystokes3667 The controller and receiver I used are here: amzn.to/2rekIjQ Usually everything I use in my videos is linked in the description. :)
How much range?
what is the output voltage of the battery you used here....? Can I used a 11.1v lipo for powering the receiver???
Amber Nishad try messaging him on Instagram. He responded to my question quickly
Battery for servos was a 2 cell 6.6v lipo. I don’t always get notifications on comments. Sorry
@@TommyCallaway No problem...You replied that's enough...I get the solution after doing a little more research later.
@@tankunicorn134 Okay...I will ask him whenever its needed on Instagram
Hello Tommy ! Can I ask where you get your interesting stuff from? I would like to know... Thanks in advance.
+ButterBeerBeef sure - like what things specifically? I usually buy components on amazon or ebay or whatever and build things with them.
Tommy Callaway Mostly components like transistors, capacitors, etc...
Yeah, I buy stuff like that on ebay (china is cheaper) - sometimes amazon if I want it in two days.
Tommy Callaway I appreciate your help... Again, Thanks
would this setup be compatible using 180 degree servos
It should be.
Cool
how do u control each servo individually?
put them on other channels (ch2, ch3 etc) depending on how many channel your receiver has and how many channels your remote has.
hey Tommy, I sent you a personal yt message regarding the gps spoof
lol. control things that shouldn't be. very funny
*20 dollars is too much money*
