Ah, so relatable. When I, an old Barbie fan, saw my sister, a new Barbie fan, watching this bland reimagining of Barbie the Princess and the _Pauper,_ my life was also ruined. Even though the songs slapped
Even tho it’s no where near as good as Princess and the Pauper, it’s still a good watch. Besides, I saw The Lost Birthday and didn’t keel over dead so nothing can destroy me
Although they stole one of the best songs from the Princess and the Pauper, they know they couldn't beat it so they just stole and redid the best song and was like "eh fuck it"

I grew up with the classic Princess and the Pauper so 11 year old me was not feeling this one aside from the songs "Here I am" and "Look how high we can fly"
Was personally offended by the rip-off of "To be a Princess" which actually talks more about responsibilities that comes with being royalty

so the song from this movie "to be a princess/popstar" is a reused song from an older barbie movie, "princess and the pauper". so yeah, idk how to feel about them just making new lyrics to that song, but the other original songs are pretty good.
speaking of which, many barbie fans regard "Princess and the Pauper" as one of the best barbie movies, so i'd reccomend reacting to that for your opinion.
But I think a barbie movie you might actually enjoy is "Barbie and the magic of pegasus". it has a little bit of adventure and of course some magic. Also the love intrest has a personality, which is always nice. (princess and the pauper has that too, somewhat)

Love all the Barbie movies. Love seeing you react to Barbie them! I remember learning the dance moves and the lyrics to the here I am song and I would just sing and dance with my plastic microphone in my bedroom. Some people hate on the remake of how to be a princess from princess and the pauper but I like it and I just don’t compare the two songs, I like them both for there own reasons.They were my childhood always watching them especially when I was home sick they were my comfort movies that and Disney movies. Love the videos! You do such an amazing job! Would love to see you react to the rest of the Narnia movies & Disney’s Rip Girls & Anastasia: Once Upon a Time.

Bro how have I never realized this is the same movie plot as the Princess and the Pauper. The song “To be a princess” is pretty much the same- still prefer the classic I grew up on- it has a weird “outtake/deleted scene” at the end- Do all Barbie movies do that?
