I just put MSD Injection on my Corvette that I have owned for 51 years (so you can guess how old I am) and was just as excited when I hit the key the first time and it fired up after rolling over about 3 revolutions. It is still learning, but the car has never been so responsive and fun to drive. Emily, your excitement is infectious!
You two are just amazing to watch. Your production quality is fantastic and your personalities working together is a breath of fresh air. Keep up the fun and informative content and ride this wave for all it’s worth!!
If you are planning on changing out the wiring harness I recommend the centech one. I put it in my early Bronco and I'm not fond of electrical work. I kept the original Ford ignition swiich as I did not like the one that came with the new harness. Other than that was pretty easy. I also put in a later model Mustang Alternator as I wanted reliability there too. Why Ford had alternator and voltage regulator separate in the 60's I'll never know. I didn't go with EFI, wanted electronic ignition for reliability but the EFI thing was looking too complicated for me....so I went with a Edelbrock with a manual choke. Good job on getting another early Bronco back on the road.
Love the bronco build. Sweet ride!!! Love watch y’all in general. And dang miss Emily ur so beautiful and the fact u get in there and get ur hands dirty snd get things done is awesome. U and ur hubby or both blessed to have each other. Will be watching for the next video
Daza's C3 It’s pretty straightforward, just like in the video. Just answer the questions in the handheld and let it do it’s thing. I let mine self tune and haven’t touched it since. I just drive and enjoy.
@@dazasc3994 No. I didn't expect too with a throttle body style efi, and neither should you. Most people who did get some mileage gain was due to their old carburetor being poorly tuned. However, the easy starting, throttle response, and drivability with the Sniper was better than I imagined and worth every penny.
LOVE those old Bronco's!!! 👍🏿 When you pour from the one quart or gallon containers , pour it with the spout up and not on the the bottom , seems a little counter-intuitive until you see how well it pours without the chugging. 😎
I was gifted a 93 Bayliner Ciera 2855. Cracked engine block. But I'm hopeful and excited. Reupholstering interior cabin while searching for an engine. On a tight budget but you guys give me hope.
#HolleyEFI We just had the best results with the Holley Terminator X, selected a boost tune from the Global Folder, changed the CID & added my injectors. Fired in maybe 2 revolutions and runs like a factory tune! We were absolutely shocked and happy! 😎😇
That's awesome. I have a 74 bronco I did a frame off on it and haven't started the motor yet. Hope mine will start like yours. Really enjoy your videos especially on the bronco. Ohh ya
That neutral safety switch just connects two wires I used to bypass them all the time just find the hot from the key switch (hot wire not hot Emily)and jump it to the wire going to the solenoid.
When painting headers always heat the headers up and burn the crap off them oil etc... Then paint them with good header paint and hang them in over what ever you heated them up with to dry. And make sure that you paint them while they are hot! And during the process keep them hot until you reach the desired level of paint on them. My drag car and 69 Camaro and my v8 s10 still have the paint on them from over 8 years ago. And don't use white use black (flat). Don't know why but white header paint doesn't last they turn yellow and peel really bad.
I had a very similar starter problem on my 69 Mustang, back in 82, when I rebuilt the motor. I didn’t plug the cable that ran to the manual trans, there is a jumper, instead of a neutral/park switch that would be on an automatic.
i know it's an old video now, but i also have the sniper system on my old 81 bullnose with a 302 roller motor. i did an AOD swap to a 5 speed and talk about waking up a truck :)
Ford small blocks like 45° total time as quick as possible according to Roush. Please watch the oil pressure gauge on first start ups! Great job, ya'll!
Great video, we’ve just installed the Holley Sniper and Hyperspark ignition on our BBC here in Australia. It’s never run so well. We did have an issue at the start with plugs fouling due to fueling up. Awesome channel, keep up the good work.
Read up on your IAC settings, I’ve been down the rabbit hole with mine, that “idle screw” isn’t really an idle screw. I run a Holley kit on my Ford and it’s been flawless, I recently installed one on my Chevy and it ran great for two months, then the IAC control failed, been chasing all sorts of issues since. Learning a lot about the system along the way, my Ford I’ve only ever had to add gas so never dove into how everything works etc. Great work guys.
I have a stock built 351w. Ended up unplugging the IAC. Runs better without it. It was always changing my idle. Turn off key and try again. Very annoying.
I painted a set of headers with POR 15 one time....bad idea...the smoke was thick to say the least...what really sucked was it was first start and breaking in a flat tappet cam..so I didn't want to shut it off...put my painter's mask on...took a long time to burn off...note to self...don't do that again...great first fire...congrats.
Was the ticking from the injectors normal or was there an adjustment that needed to be made. Great work you two! Keep up the smiling, helps us all through our projects.
Just to save money, I noticed that when you took out the driveshafts they were long on the rear and shorter on the front. If they are the same diameter would it work to just swap the rear to the front and the front to the rear? Just and Idea to take some measurements. Awesome build!
Just a dumb fyi to help with the glug, glue, glug...turn the bottle of oil or power steering fluid over so the offset neck is on top when you pour...its designed to work that way...
As always another one is done. Great video Em and Aron. love your channel, love the content, love you guys❤️. Oh, we need to see you up in the air real soon. Still good weather for flying?

@@JoshBrock LOL!

It's alive! Such a good feeling! And Emily is such a goofball that the slow-mo sexy look at the end of the videos just cracks me up every time.
Em uses the term GOOBER, sometimes.
Yeap...she make alot if she had site like other chicks selling ONLY fans...or maybe body parts...hahahaha

What a sweet truck !!!

What A Great WEEK.
Congratulations guys.
That smoke cloud must have been epic if the camera could pick up some of it!! Congrats to Betty and to you two as well!
Awesome! I’ve had my Sniper for 3 years now and love it!
im almost ready for my first start up with a sniper, could never figure out how to tune a carb, how does it compare?

That’s one hell of a woman. Texas girl of course 👍🏻😎. Awesome videos you guys, keep on rockin!!🇺🇸
I would add nice black off road bumpers to go with those fender flares.
Love these videos, what a great find. Please keep it up you two
You are such a lucky man.

Took me half a dozen times for my first start of my Bronco 😂 should have waited for yalls videos before I installed mine

Holley's start up wizard makes me smile every time. :-)
I have seen smoke burn off headers a number of times to put it mildly but that was impressive.
WHOHOOOOO!!!!!! Way to go yall!!!👍🏻❤️🤘🏻❤️
Wish my mechanic was as good looking as Emily. Paying the bill would be so satisfying considering she also knows what she's doing. Good onya!

That is a way cool Bronco.
I've got a 79' F-100 351m C6 I rescued. I built the M and put new front pump seals in the C6. I would love to put efi on it.
on quarts like that power steering fluid or oil, flip the bottle the other way in hand to pour and it wont glug!
Congratulations 100k subs!!!!!
Great job and can't wait to see her on the road 👍👍🇨🇱
what an absolutely adorable couple

Looks like you need to buff/polish the red grill. An easy task and would boost the appearance greatly. Also, I would set the idle to 700 rpm.
Great exhaust note
Emilys ripped t-shirts are the best!
Its Awesome when it fires the 2nd time around!
That oxidized grill looks funny now that the sides are all shiny. Good deal on the start-up! Love that Bronco.
Yes looks a little off...
Great work. Glad to see her running 👍🏻💪🏼🔥❤️

Was it just the paint on the header making the smoke @FlyingSparksGarage
