If the wind turbine brakes into the braking state and does not vibrate or shake significantly, it means that it is a good wind turbine. Of course, these operations must be operated at the rated wind speed of the wind turbine. This is a good way to check the quality of wind turbines

    I saw your video for the 300W Vevor 5 Blade Version. Can you roughly sum how much power during normal wind condition it will produce? And, more important, does this turbine turn itself in 360° flicks during normal operation? This happens on regular basis to the famous turkish variants and makes it quite useless...

      Hi Peer, Istill have to carry out an outdoor test with the ista breeze i500 but from what little I have tried (I did it on video with low wind ...) the vevor performs better as a function of wind rotation, works with lower winds and rotates less with changes in wind direction. To calculate the production, do it quickly, if at 10 m/s it produces 100 watts in 10 hours, that's 1 kWh.

      for turbines of this size it takes over 1000 euros for a professional product like air-x or silentwind

    That's because that's all the power the inverter can handle and the charge controller. It's a good thing it braked instead of fried out any circuits. If you use an mppt charge controller it will spin faster because the mppt controller dumps access voltage. Try also running it a DC capacitor before the inverter 😎

    solar mppt is not suited for wind energy because you cannot adjust how much power it tries to take from the turbine at certain voltages, so it stalls the turbine. You need to add a battery to vharge, and use a voltage sensing relay to turn the inverter on at 13v and turn it off at say 11.8v Battery is only used as a buffer.

      Hi Deiphobizz, the purpose of the test is to measure the maximum power of the turbine, over the years I have tried other grid ties for wind with small turbines and the yield has always been bad, the grid inverters drastically slow down the turbines. With large turbines, thanks to the higher rotation force of the large rotor, braking is reduced and they are able to work better.

      The maximum power I recorded in the test is less than 15 Watts.....😌

    So what happened was your water pipes were at full capacity meaning you can only put in the voltage that is allowed thru the cable at any given time.
