If he used power-ups that would give him away, so instead he puts them in his bag. Also in the background of the ending of New Super Luigi U, you can see Nabbit in the backgroun, and he appears shocked when Peach kisses Luigi on the cheek
I honestly could care less when people say First one a video, but unfortunately tons of other TH-camrs hate on that comment, which is extremely understandable since it's so old. From what I've seen, people only care about a first comment when it says "First", if it doesn't then people just ignore it. :P
Well the same could be said for NSMB 1 & 2 when you use the "cheat" to play as Luigi in Story Mode, they probably could've added Daisy in there. Maybe it's because she isn't the Princess of the Mushroom Kingdom, so Bowser probably has no legit excuse to kidnap her. :/

Daisy must be jealous of Peach getting kidnapped all the time. "Like" if you think it's time Daisy got kidnapped in a Luigi game (keep in mind that she has never been kidnapped other than in SML and it was by Aliens... Nabbit may seem like a hardcore Game Breaker, but here's my theory: Maybe he was made impossible to kill so whoever's playing as him could be a jerk to everyone else. Every NSMB game had teamwork be the basic purpose of multiplayer, but with Nabbit joining the roster, we finally have someone to COMPETE with... and in STORY MODE, no less!! :D
YAYA! I feel that it should be a war of the worlds type deal where Bowser attacks the Mushroom Planet with an infininte army of airships and possible that be the theme of the game; Super Mario: Rise of the Airships, Fall of the Mushroom World.. I don't know.. Still, next Mario game, AIRSHIPS

Because it was a last minute idea and they wanted to give the digital version a chance to sell quick since they make more money on the digital release, and with a physical copy some people would rather save the hard drive space, but if they're impatient and rather not wait, only having a digital release initially will mean they'll buy digitally. Basically, it's to cash out, and then the physical release is basically for the people with the basic Wii U who don't have the hard drive space

I mean i like how its packaged version of the game and its really cool for people who like the physical game instead of the downloadable version, but what i dont get is why is the packaged version date in august while the download version is only in a few weeks? wouldnt it make sense to release both on the same day?

GameXplain! Look at 3:41. If you look at the clock, you'll notice that it's more than 100 seconds. This could mean that levels with boss fights give you extra time, or that boss fights themselves get their own time limit. Or, there could be a mechanic that requires that you collect time pieces to add to your time as you run through the level, similar to some recent 3D Mario games.

what do you mean by "real toad"? Toads thats exist? or Toads that you see everywhere? There are tons of different color toads, i was just bringing up the fact that you've played as blue toad before. Blue toad is obviously "real", he's just not the main toad you see all over the place. He also appears in Luigi's mansion 2 along with red toad, so blue toad IS real.
But what if Mario was turned into babymario which scene he would be small couldn't sit up in is chair right exposing only his hat ,but when the hand came in to play he cowered in fear and stood still to be seen as just a prop to comfort the princess resulting that's why you may only see Mario's hat and what is e'gad was thrown in there for another part of the game play
Hmm, since this is a retail release, I'm guessing it'll be at least $40 retail, but I hope the DLC version gets a price drop around $20 or something. I like the whole retail release DLC idea, especially considering the size of the Wii U hard drive, but I hope it keeps it in a DLC appropriate price range. I don't wanna have $60 DLC, even if it is basically a whole new game :/
Eh. That depends. The new series has always had the same basic game engine, with the controls staying the same. That doesn't change, but now we have luigi's physics in the series, which is new. So, it depends on how you look at it. I understand why you would say that.
It's really only the same game since 2006. Aside from the "New" subseries, they tend to change things up quite a bit between games. See: Mario 3, World, 64, Sunshine, Galaxy, and even Galaxy 2 (which, despite the name, was as different from Galaxy as Mario 3 was from the first).
I think to make the Squirrel segment's a non-Nabbit deathtrap the player could press 2 again and hold it to make Nabbit glide using his sack as a Parachute. Of course he won't do the mid-air jump, but it seems fair. Thumbs up so GameXplain might put it in his next analysis video?
I'm calling it right now: Nabbit is actually Mario in disguise; a fake Nabbit of sorts. At the end of NSLU, Luigi will go up to Peach expecting a reward when Mario appears (out of his disguise) at the last second for Peach. Thus, the journey will end with Luigi slowly sighing and walking off.
Well, my theory on the retro Luigi's is that there are three per level as well as there are three star coin's per level. Think about it, that one retro Luigi that Andre spotted in Sparkling Waters was in a place that looks like a good place for a star coin. But remember, this is just my theory.
This game just needs more DLC with playable characters such as this one and a brand new world to explore. They may be doing something right here! Give us something in the vein of Mario Bros 2, giving players a skill they need to master for their specific character. THEY MAY BE ONTO SOMETHING!

My guess could the player with the gamepad be nabbit and he collects items like in ds versions of super mario where you could just tap an item to release it into the game, thats why he can not get hurt. Like in galaxy 2 the red luma who collects star bits?

I couldn't help but notice that the music playing during the NSLU part of the Nintendo Direct wasn't anything we've heard before in NSMBU. Perhaps alongside the new graphics, we'll also be getting new music? Even if it is just from old games.
this game would be perfect, but it would be nice if they would make it so that there wouldnt be any collision between players. There is nothing more fristerating in this game then trying to jump across a pit and ending up falling to your death because your friend jumped on your head. Or having a douche pick you up or push you into an enemy.

Notice in new super mario bros wii, we got a blue and yellow toad, to make it that each character has a different color, instead of using wario and waluigi, because blue is a more primary color than purple. Wario first appeared in Super Mario Land 2: The 6 Golden Coins. Waluigi appered in Mario Tennis because Wario needed a partner. Daisy first appeared in Super Mario Land, being the princess of Sarasaland, who was kidnapped by Tatanga.
I have internet, but I would rather buy the hard copy...as it is more of a collectible, I think it's better to have it physically than digitally....and you won have to use the WiiU's memory. So you can download other non hard copied games.

Theirs only 1 New Super mario bros for each home console a generation, this is just dlc. The boost blocks, change up gameplay quite a lot and their are 82 or so unique levels.

Nabbit doesn't get hurt because he is the character you pick if you want to screw with the first player. You pick him, and you can act as another enemy, fun times and broken friendships.
She's not made by Shigeru Miyamoto, I believe. Don't quote me on it, but I believe Wario, Waluigi and Daisy were made by someone else who also helped to make the Mario Party series.

I noticed that when nabbit collected an item, his bag moved as if he was putting it in there. And maybe if you have nabbit with you during multiplayer you will have more item rooms.
The fact that you reaffirmed the obvious implies that you were putting emphasis on it, and thus felt it had some kind of greater significance to you. This is how language works.
Notice how on the billboard it said "Super Luigi Bros." With "Bros." crossed out? Maybe him and Mario had a fight explaining why Mario didn't show up during the kidnapping.

Next thing you know, it's like Super Mario 64 all over again. A Toad takes the cap, waits for Mario to get another star, and then give it to Mario. Luigi will be missing, and the princess is later found.
I have an idea: Peach and Mario broke up, so Peach decided to make Mario jealous by having his brother and the Toads over for a tea party. Luigi brought Mario's hat as a sacrificial offering.

Because it was a last minute idea and they wanted to give the digital version a chance to sell quick since they make more money on the digital release, and with a physical copy some people would rather save the hard drive space, but if they're impatient and rather not wait, only having a digital release initially will mean they'll buy digitally. Basically, it's to cash out, and then the physical release is basically for the people with the basic Wii U who don't have the hard drive space
you forgot to mention( well i guess you didnt have to but.....) new super luigi u will actually have its own packaged game coming in august, which to me doesnt make sense. I mean i like how its packaged version of the game and its really cool for people who like the physical game instead of the downloadable version, but what i dont get is why is the packaged version date in august while the download version is only in a few weeks? wouldnt it make sense to release both on the same day?

GameXplain! Look at 3:41. If you look at the clock, you'll notice that it's more than 100 seconds. This could mean that levels with boss fights give you extra time, or that boss fights themselves get their own time limit. Or, there could be a mechanic that requires that you collect time pieces to add to your time as you run through the level, similar to some recent 3D Mario games.
a better intro would be peach and daisy haveing tea and bowser comes and peach runs scared well daisy is just sitting there because she never gets kidnaped and the bowser kidnaps her insted and thats why it's Luigi saveing HIS girlfriend for once!!!!!!!!!

what do you mean by "real toad"? Toads thats exist? or Toads that you see everywhere? There are tons of different color toads, i was just bringing up the fact that you've played as blue toad before. Blue toad is obviously "real", he's just not the main toad you see all over the place. He also appears in Luigi's mansion 2 along with red toad, so blue toad IS real.
But what if Mario was turned into babymario which scene he would be small couldn't sit up in is chair right exposing only his hat ,but when the hand came in to play he cowered in fear and stood still to be seen as just a prop to comfort the princess resulting that's why you may only see Mario's hat and what is e'gad was thrown in there for another part of the game play
Hmm, since this is a retail release, I'm guessing it'll be at least $40 retail, but I hope the DLC version gets a price drop around $20 or something. I like the whole retail release DLC idea, especially considering the size of the Wii U hard drive, but I hope it keeps it in a DLC appropriate price range. I don't wanna have $60 DLC, even if it is basically a whole new game :/

Eh. That depends. The new series has always had the same basic game engine, with the controls staying the same. That doesn't change, but now we have luigi's physics in the series, which is new. So, it depends on how you look at it. I understand why you would say that.
It's really only the same game since 2006. Aside from the "New" subseries, they tend to change things up quite a bit between games. See: Mario 3, World, 64, Sunshine, Galaxy, and even Galaxy 2 (which, despite the name, was as different from Galaxy as Mario 3 was from the first).
I think to make the Squirrel segment's a non-Nabbit deathtrap the player could press 2 again and hold it to make Nabbit glide using his sack as a Parachute. Of course he won't do the mid-air jump, but it seems fair. Thumbs up so GameXplain might put it in his next analysis video?
I'm calling it right now: Nabbit is actually Mario in disguise; a fake Nabbit of sorts. At the end of NSLU, Luigi will go up to Peach expecting a reward when Mario appears (out of his disguise) at the last second for Peach. Thus, the journey will end with Luigi slowly sighing and walking off.
Well, my theory on the retro Luigi's is that there are three per level as well as there are three star coin's per level. Think about it, that one retro Luigi that Andre spotted in Sparkling Waters was in a place that looks like a good place for a star coin. But remember, this is just my theory.
This game just needs more DLC with playable characters such as this one and a brand new world to explore.
They may be doing something right here! Give us something in the vein of Mario Bros 2, giving players a skill they need to master for their specific character.

before you mentioned that nabbit stole power ups... and in this game he takes them but doesn't actually uses them... I think he's just in it to collect the power ups that come along your way since he clearly has his bag with him...
My guess could the player with the gamepad be nabbit and he collects items like in ds versions of super mario where you could just tap an item to release it into the game, thats why he can not get hurt. Like in galaxy 2 the red luma who collects star bits?

I couldn't help but notice that the music playing during the NSLU part of the Nintendo Direct wasn't anything we've heard before in NSMBU. Perhaps alongside the new graphics, we'll also be getting new music? Even if it is just from old games.
this game would be perfect, but it would be nice if they would make it so that there wouldnt be any collision between players. There is nothing more fristerating in this game then trying to jump across a pit and ending up falling to your death because your friend jumped on your head. Or having a douche pick you up or push you into an enemy.
Maybe Mario got cake on his pants and went to take a shower. Then the giant bowser hand came and took everyone. And then Nabbit decided to go on the ride to pull a prank on Weegie, BT and YT or something.Then at the end of the game, bowser realizes that Marios not fighting him, so he just chucks everyone back and then it starts back at NSMBU.Just a funny guess. :p
I really think they should work on Nabbit. I mean, the main purpose of Power Ups is to clear enemies faster, right? So even if he can't collect power ups, if he's invicible he'll still have a clear advantage, right? This is ridiculous and unfair on other players who aren't playing as Nabbit... It's not THAT hard to create a 'Fire Nabbit' character model, Nintendo...seriously
I have a theory. Notice in new super mario bros wii, we got a blue and yellow toad, to make it that each character has a different color, instead of using wario and waluigi, because blue is a more primary color than purple. (and it would be out of character). Now, we have a purple character. you think wario or waluigi could be in that nabbit costume?

Did you guys notice that, in the boss battle, the time left was 126 seconds( 3:48 ). Now, that wouldn't be strange in the original game, but doesn't New Super Luigi U have a time limit of 100 seconds? What's that about?
I think Nabbit will kinda stab Luigi and the Toads in the back at the last minute due to his bandana. Could it be that Nabbit is Bowser Jr. as Bowser Jr. used his bandana in Super Mario Sunshine to be Shadow Mario?
maybe mario went to the bathroom then later finds out peach was stolen and trys to follow luigi but can't catch up then Bowser Jr. finds him after being defeated and bring mario to the castle with peach there :3
another thing to mention is that you can either download the game onto new super mario bros U or buy it as stand alone title and skip having to buy new super mario bros U =)

Or one of the toads and a different more original character but the two toads are exactly the same save for color scheme, even mario and luigi have different distinguishing characteristics, and abilities.
And if the nabbit levels are there they could be, A - A race and the winner gets a reward or B - A little minigame for fun or C - Just like on the starting screen if it was left alone long enough.

Maybe Nabbit can't collect items because he can't go into a bubble with A and instead if you press A he'll reach in his sack and throw out an item that he collected to give to luigi/yellow toad/ blue toad

I have internet, but I would rather buy the hard copy...as it is more of a collectible, I think it's better to have it physically than digitally....and you won have to use the WiiU's memory. So you can download other non hard copied games.
if you play super mario bros U on the wii console,it's the exact same game with different power-ups and levels, but i see all the mario bros games as 'extra levels and powerups'
Theirs only 1 New Super mario bros for each home console a generation, this is just dlc.
The boost blocks, change up gameplay quite a lot and their are 82 or so unique levels.

Nabbit doesn't get hurt because he is the character you pick if you want to screw with the first player.
You pick him, and you can act as another enemy, fun times and broken friendships.
She's not made by Shigeru Miyamoto, I believe. Don't quote me on it, but I believe Wario, Waluigi and Daisy were made by someone else who also helped to make the Mario Party series.

I noticed that when nabbit collected an item, his bag moved as if he was putting it in there. And maybe if you have nabbit with you during multiplayer you will have more item rooms.

Next thing you know, it's like Super Mario 64 all over again. A Toad takes the cap, waits for Mario to get another star, and then give it to Mario. Luigi will be missing, and the princess is later found.
I have an idea: Peach and Mario broke up, so Peach decided to make Mario jealous by having his brother and the Toads over for a tea party. Luigi brought Mario's hat as a sacrificial offering.

I have never been a fan of the generic toad characters. I think it would be cooler if they went with more of a Mario part feel and let you play as daisy and peach.
