I'm new to go, so I could be wrong, but I have a problem with your solution for the tsumego at 5:00. Our long black group on the left only has two liberties, while the central white group has three. The solution you suggest reduces white's liberties to 2, but does not add any to the black group. If white then plays in the corner (A1), black is reduced to one liberty, and playing at neither A3 nor A4 will fix that, so white will capture the group. If, instead, black plays its first move at A3 (top line, third line from the left), it can connect to the black stone at A5. If white tries to cut them off at A4, it'll place itself into atari. So instead white will probably play A1, allowing black to connect (keeping its liberties at 2, while putting white in atari). White can then not do anything to prevent its central group from being captured. Am I reading this wrong?
