Great video Wayne but I get the feeling they are stringing out these last few issues. I’m saving mine until the last pack and then binge building the last 5 packs.
I’ve owned 3 of those vintage year firebirds. One Funny thing about those air struts for the rear hatch is they are a common fail point. Everyone who ever owned a firebird or Camaro eventually carried a broom stick in the back to hold it up. I bolted together two ends of a crutch so The soft rubber wouldn’t scratch anything. Most people didn’t replace them as they were expensive at 400 dollars a pair, and would only last 2-3 years before failing again. They never failed completely though because if you removed them you quickly realized the rear hatch was about 300 pounds with that big piece of glass.
Just did mine passenger side took me 40 minutes couldn’t get things to line up on mine at first but looks great now next stages is where fun starts me think s 😊
I think when I first started this build and found your channel, you were on pack 13 (stages 47-50, Dashboard electrics); seems unreal you've only got one pack left to go! I've just done pack 16, front passenger seat and rear driver's side seat. Your livestream of fitting the interior was horrifying comedy gold, and I'm not looking forward to reaching that stage next month! 🤣
I got spare screws from the older issues after watching other videos as germany got it much earlier. I now have the rear bumper and lights attached I made sure I could do it as its next in the sequence
You are correct got my last Pack today and stage 110 you put the car together. I now need to do a marathon Build from Pack 13 to catch up 🤣. Don't forget your Mike Lane sidewall carpet Oh too late 🤭
Looking good Wayne, can't believe that its almost done. I did notice that you used the stock "Rear Sail Panel Trim" pieces. Mike Lane has the "Door carpet, badges & rear sail panel trims" mod that I am pretty sure you have since you used the door carpets. Just wondering why you did not put the sail panel pieces on. As always, great video.
It’s looking good Wayne I’ve nearly got all my issues now and at the moment I’ve built up to issue 67 unfortunately i can’t go any further as my PCB is faulty so I’m awaiting a replacement
Hi wayne I hope u have some tips in getting the shell of the car on to the body as before it was easy to do it but now can't even it pass the dashboard. Just getting stress about it before it's even here lol
Mr. Wayne. Did already pre order the 1966 Batmobile? Gosh I really want to get that one. I know that it does not come out until February. So I am just asking. Almost done with K.I.T.T good to see.
Hello, hope you are all good. One thing that I dont like is the safety belts. I have seen the finished model and its not beautiful. They are loose and not tided up. We will see how it will go. Greetings!!!!
Hi Wayne. Great video and build as always. I do have one question though. Did the instructions not get you to fit the rear boot lift struts the wrong way round? I am sure that every car I have ever seen has the thicker casing part connected to the car body and the inner piston part connected to the boot lid. I never paid that close attention to KITT in the series so the way they have you install them may be series correct, but I am pretty sure they are not IRL correct. Of course it could be a UK/US difference in installation methods as well, or more likely that I am just completely wrong about the whole thing :) Kind of nit-picky I know, but now I have noticed it, I can't unsee it 😃
Those white interior panels look wrong. Did they forget to paint them or something? I'm pretty sure on the real cars, those panels are the same color as the rest of the interior panels.

Hi wanye it's simon Walpole it's glad you are doing some new stage again from simon.
Great video Wayne but I get the feeling they are stringing out these last few issues. I’m saving mine until the last pack and then binge building the last 5 packs.
K.I.T.T. is really looking great. Nice video, Wayne.

I am waiting for my pack to be delivered, the car looks great
Finally!! Thank you for the video Wayne!! Now we wait for next month 😂.

Im too on this pack with 1 left to go, nearly there!😁
good build thanks lee
So cool 👍
They're gas struts, Wayne :)
Ahhhh
Cool build Im assuming there will be something covering those white pieces?
I have some carpeting I think

I need to find what I did with them lol
Why a white trim panel ? GM never made it so
@@rangeroverl322 no idea. It's carpeted now

When did kitt have seat belts thought after first episode they went to passive restraint
No Mike Lane sale panel upgrades? Thanks for your great work
Great vid great job 💞🍺🍰🎁🙏💪🐕

Me too lol
Don't remember those interior panels being white, looks a bit odd against the beige, but lovely KITT nonetheless
Hi Wayne, i thought you were about to install the mods you got from Mike Lane for the speaker covers or sail panels as we know them here.
Yer. I need to find them

Curious about those rear panels being white. Did they forget to paint them? They look odd next to the all tan interior.
I thought that too, spoils the interior
You should try something from model factory hiro
It’s still not Available on fanhome. I wanted to order senna’s lotus Renault but that’s no longer available
Why on earth are those rear interior sail panel inserts...WHITE? wth Fanhome!😆
Hello, hope you are all good. One thing that I dont like is the safety belts. I have seen the finished model and its not beautiful. They are loose and not tided up. We will see how it will go. Greetings!!!!

I just followed the instructions. You are right though. Everyone I saw was the other way
Hi wayne donu know when we get the display case with lissues will come with royal mail or courier
I'm not sure tbh
Didn’t you get the mod from Mike Lane for the sail panel where the hook goes??
Yep. I need to find them
Wayne how flush to the body is the edges of your rear glass? Mine is slightly larger and doesn’t really clip down in place which is abit annoying
It looks quite flush
Why is the speaker cover white? In the real car it’s black mesh. Ok mines was black, I had black interior. But this cover should be tan.
No idea lol
Those white interior panels look wrong. Did they forget to paint them or something? I'm pretty sure on the real cars, those panels are the same color as the rest of the interior panels.
I'd guess there's a stick-on "cloth" panel in the next pack
@@scottysgarage4393 if so, you'd think they'd have had it put on before the coat hook was screwed into place.
Goth cars clothes are nearly completed. This makes Goth Car almost excited. Goth Car can't show excitement because it'll ruin Goth Cars moody image.😊
