    One of the very best how to install, no frills, no extra commentary, fantastic demonstration, and you did not film yourself doing each and every wing nut. GREAT! I really appreciated it.

    Oh boy, TH-cam can be great, I measured my stuff and went to Home Depot and none of the u bolts were even close to wide enough, but seeing the video, that measurement was the length I needed rather than the width, hehe

    Thanks. Seems so simple. But I didn't know! Thanks for posting!

    You are suppose to have the top of the ladder extended above the roof edge so you have something to grab when getting on and off the ladder.

    Just to point out, I've heard that there are different types of stabilizers for different ladders (e.g. fiberglass ladders take a different type of stabilizer than an aluminum one). Just make sure you get the right type for your ladder.

    It does work with the MT-22 ladder. Werner sells the stabilizer as model # AC96 for $22 at Home Depot.

    Didn't you omit two angled pieces for this demonstration?

    • @redballtrading
      @redballtrading 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Yes, he did. Those angled pieces create another layer for the U-bolts. Not allowing you to screw on the wing nuts at all. This stabilizer was was not meant for the fiberglass Werner ladders. Only the aluminum ones. I had to do what he did to get it on my fiberglass ladder. It still holds secure as far as I’m concerned. Just make sure those wing nuts are nice and snug.

  • @58zoomer
    @58zoomer 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    you put the u-bolt up-side down they could slide down that way

    • @illwil2158

      Yes but only if the ladder is on siding...if its on a rooftop then he has it the right way...actually has picture directions for dummies on the bar itself
