Thank you, Tom!!! (I know, your video's been out here for two years but it's still helping nimrods like me. The fact is, fixin' stuff NEVER get's old to some of us.👍👍
Thank you Tom! Very helpfull. I just bought a vintage Corso. Is it posible to have a vidéo to help me change the cloth on the Bass bottons end.....Thanl you so Much Tom.
Hello Pierre! Thanks for your comment! Changing the cloth on the Bayside is even easier than on the treble grill. You just have to remove the cloth, and cut a rectangle the same size and glue it on. It’s a very similar process to the video I already made, but you don’t have to be as accurate with cutting out the cloth.
@@TomsMusicShop Ok thank you. I was just wondering, since i beleive the cloth is probably glued directly to wood,( i did not dessamble the instrument so far...) what glue should i use, because the spray glue is not the best on wood....Could kinf of Crazy glu works foe that...Thank you Tom. ( Excuse my English..I'm french Canadian...) Buy the way...I bought an Erica....my mistake...
Hello Pierre! You should do some kind of spray adhesive. That works the best. I will see about sending you a link to what I use. Tesa spray glue: amzn.to/3yKotP2
Hello Tom. Few years ago an accordion repair man, used some vaseline petroleum jelly, to stop my Corso buttons from the Clicking noise. I have the same issue with my Erica. But i can't remember where to apply the lubricant....Would you help me solve this bad buttons noises...Best regards.
Hello Tom. It's seems to be a regular problem on some Hohner button accordions, ( noisy Clacking noise everytime you hit a note or bass note...).but, as an old man, i don't have no I-Phone to take any videos. You will find- out in some Forums about this ...And i suddendly remembered ..........Just apply this petrolium jelly around the buttons , ( on the boards of the buttons.)..once in a while ! This Hint works! Regards. Pierre

Hello, wich grill cloth do you use? I have to change the ones in the bottom, close to the feet of my accordion. Greetings from Canada.
Hey Tiago, I use cloth that I buy from Hohner. Which kind of accordion do you need to mend?
Hey@@TomsMusicShop it's a Serenelli piano accordion probably from the 50"s. Two sound exits in the bottom mesuring 4cm x 5cm.
OK, well that's not much material. I could sell you some, but shipping might be expensive to Canada. Should I look into that for you?
@@TomsMusicShop thank you my friend I will search in the accordion repair-man of my town if I don't find. I let you know. Thank you for your help.
The best
Thanks, Nestor. Let me know if there is anything I can do for you in my next video.
