I love BISHOP I graduated from high school there in 1975. Family lived there for many years. Great town.

Wow, that brings back memories! My Aunt owned the Lakeview motel going out of Bishop towards Lee Vining, across from the mobile park. We use to go to the Bishop Grill and The Outdoorsman store. Ate alot of Sheepherders bed. And fished in South Lake. I drank cups of water out of the lake. The water was so cold near the runoff of the melting snow. And the trout was so good. We also fished the Owen's River on the was out to "Laws", a ghost town. Thanks for bringing up memories from back in the late 60 to early 70. God Bless!

Thanks for watching! Bishop is a great town, I can only imagine what it would have looked like in the late 60's. I'm sure a lot has changed since then

It’s safe to drink Jack’s coffee now. They exclusively use Mt. Whitney Roasters (right there in Bishop off Wye Rd.) and it’s flippin’ fantastic. no, i’m not affiliated; I just got tired of having to walk the block to Looney. Jack’s coffee was the only thing bad in the place but it’s not now!

Yes, the air at 10,000 ft is very thin.
