Thank you for bringing me back to the bump and run. After joining a club with fast greens and difficult brakes, I stopped doing this. However, with some practices and confidence, it’s still the better, easier and safer way around the non-raised greens. You are one of the best golf instructor.
100 % agree what you said! 60-70% practice on the chipping, putting. That can easily lower score. Thank you so much! You are a great coach! It is very good that you wrote down what is important to remember for every lesson!
I’ve been practicing your instructional bump and run video and find it changing my game for the better. The close narrow stance with the nine iron and heel off the ground are key to success.Thank-you!
Not every good players can explain properly. Michele has the gift to explain complicated topic with easy to understand languages. Thanks Michele. Like your videos n teachings very much.
Good day Michele, I am a mid-handicap player from Montréal area ( Canada ) and I just love the right and simple way you gave all your technical advices to the public golfers. You get me back at all time to the basic of this great sport. Many thanks for your excellent channel.
Really appreciate how you give us the essentials in the video and then work out further details interactively in the comments. Almost has the feel of an in person learning group. Thanks Michele.
Thank you Michele! I played one year now, always have problem with my chipping. By watching your video I have improved a lot. Thx a million and I wish you all the best and I will following your other videos.
Excellent. It helps a ton to focus on the fact that 50% of the score happens on or around the green. I now have started really grinding on that and .....tadaa....wiped 2 shots off my card consistently. THANK YOU Michele and hope everything's okay on your side?
Another hour spent on the short game area today, chipping is becoming so much more consistent. I’m a lot more focused using your practice routine. thanks Michele
It’s so easy to understand your videos 😍 No complicated concepts to show off knowledge but just what is needed to execute the shot. I duffed 4-5 times today and I can’t wait to try your suggestions on my next round. Keep up the great work!
Thankyou for the tip... i have been working on this now for a couple weeks as i seem to chunk the lofted clubs.... you neglected to say what club you used for this presentation... i tend to use 8 or 9 iron pending on the distance.... Thanks again Vince
I really enjoy watching your videos. They are simple and helpful. I am wondering if you could post a video or a series videos to talk about how to hit a shot under trees on the rough because a lot of time my drive sliced and land on the rough below trees. I know I have to use a bigger club and keep ball positions backward. But I had a very hard time to get out. Thanks.
Hi Michele, I would like to have seen you talk about the carry and roll distance. For example I typically use a 7 iron for bump and run shots. I split the distance into thirds and try to get my ball to land 1/3 of the distance to the pin with a 2/3rds rollout using many of the techniques you discussed in this video (short stance & putting like stroke). Thanks
Thanks for the great tips. Delofting by "heel off the ground" makes the ball go to the right what makes aiming more difficult. Isn't it easier to use a 6- iron instead?
Thank you so much.I'm a senior golfer and like to run the ball on the ground. I have just one question: which clubs do you recommend for bump and run.Again thank you and I hope that you are doing well.
Hi Michelle! Thank you so much for the awesome short game series. Very helpful in that you present it in a nice, simple way to understand without getting overly technical. Liked and subscribed! Quick question though - should we open our stance when executing the chip shot / bump & run, and if so, what's a good way to think about how open our stance should be? Thank you in advance!
Thnx Michele for the great tip. Got a few questions about B&R. Q1, what club do u use? higher lofted eg SW, 58, 60 or lower lofted eg PW, 9i, 8i? Q2 if I use lower lofted club, do I still lift up the heel of the club? Q3, is the strength needed is less than chipping? Thanks.
1. 9 iron. you can work with 9,8,7 irons and see how it goes. depending on distance. 2. yes, I would lift it up just a little. 3. yes, it feel like putting.
Thanks Michele you're explaining so well. What do you think about PM´s hinge & Hold short game? I am trying this because I got problems with tight arm muscles using the only the arms.
I prefer bump and runs to chipping and thanks to ths video I can see where I need too make adjustments. Which club do you bump and run with most often?
Michele You are recommending that the shaft is straight up and not leaning ,on bump and runs , chipping and pitching For all three , is that correct ? Thank you
Do you change your grip to resemble a putting grip with the grip going more through center of palm or do you keep your standard iron grip where it’s more in your fingers?
Depends on the shot... Little fringe to work with and flag long ways lower lofted 7-9 iron or even 3-5wood. Can even bump and run with wedges on short ones. Best to pick one or two you like and practice on those to get feel for them. Key for bump and runs is using putting stroke
Thank you for bringing me back to the bump and run. After joining a club with fast greens and difficult brakes, I stopped doing this. However, with some practices and confidence, it’s still the better, easier and safer way around the non-raised greens. You are one of the best golf instructor.
same here just came back after 13 years used to be good at the bump and run.
You are an excellent teacher, very straight to the point yet equally simple to understand. Your videos look customised for me. Thank you

I’ve been practicing your instructional bump and run video and find it changing my game for the better. The close narrow stance with the nine iron and heel off the ground are key to success.Thank-you!

Will work on that. Thank you
He has the video out already. Lovely instruction.
I have used this technique on the green for long lag putting with a 4i. A pro would never do that but it does work.
Really? As long it works. That’s great
Great tip
Thank you
Amazing, try this two rounds and works really well...

You make it easy but l have hard time with it anyway l hope l get it soon thanks again
Got to relax the arm and wrist. Have fun :)
Thanks for the tips Michele.. Its helps a lot. Chipping and putting is really my bad area.
Keep working on it, I’m sure you will master it soon :)
Hi Michele, what club do you use to bump and run? I use a gap wedge for chipping and pitching.
What club would you use for the bump and run, is it the same as a chip shot?
Thanks for the info. Great as usual. Still struggling with grip and slice. Going to review your previous lessons. 🙂
Thank you

Great lesson, Michele. Thanks!

Hi Michele, for the bump and run, do you recommend to use the wedges or 7/8 iron?
I would use 7-9 iron. thanks!
Is the ball in the middle or back from center
Thanks for the great tips. Delofting by "heel off the ground" makes the ball go to the right what makes aiming more difficult. Isn't it easier to use a 6- iron instead?
You might be pushing the handle too far forward :)

Hi Michele, i played today and managed to one putt seven holes for par and chipped in once of the green for a birdie
using bump and run.

Thanks Michele you're explaining so well. What do you think about PM´s hinge & Hold short game? I am trying this because I got problems with tight arm muscles using the only the arms.
I think that’s great to create a lower ball flight. Try to have lesser grip pressure. :)
I prefer bump and runs to chipping and thanks to ths video I can see where I need too make adjustments. Which club do you bump and run with most often?
I use P-8 irons :)
Thanks Michelle. A great tip which I have been practicing. What lofted club would you typically use for a bump and run please?
From P-8 iron :) thank you

Awesome lesson. Do you give lessons online?

During the Back swing, which hand lift the club head, both , left , or right? Pls advise. Tq
Both :) thanks
nice channel, keep it up. Suggestion on the video resolution, seems pretty low even for TH-cam.
Thanks, will do! Thank you so much for your support!
Michele You are recommending that the shaft is straight up and not leaning ,on bump and runs , chipping and pitching For all three , is that correct ? Thank you
I would say handle over the ball. If you put your weight slightly to the left the handle will move slightly forward too. Thank you
@@michelelowgolf7501 Thank you so much ,you are a great instructor !!!
Hi Michelle, what club should we use when doing bump & run? Is the same principle with chipping? Thank you?
Can use P-8. Technique is a little different.
Do you change your grip to resemble a putting grip with the grip going more through center of palm or do you keep your standard iron grip where it’s more in your fingers?
I use a standard iron grip. Thanks for watching :)
What club/wedge did you use for bump and runs? I guess it depends how far pin is from the edge in front you.
P-8

9 iron :)
