  • This hairstyle can go by many names: locs, dreadlocks, or dreads. Sometimes the size can be specified even further to be called Sisterlocks, Microlocs, or small locs. Either way, I love locked hair and the variety of shapes and sizes that can come in. On this channel, you'll see (1) my daughter's Sisterlocks, (2) my DIY Microlocs turned small locs, and (3) assorted 'How To' videos. I hope you enjoy and find value in my content.
I've been told that my locs with relaxed ends resemble the popular faux locs commonly referred to as boho locs, butterfly locs, or goddess locs. Let me know what you think in the comment section below.

I remember finding you through your 1st set of micro-locs several years ago, before I got my own set of Sisterlocks. I'm so excited for you and this new journey! It will be amazing to see how your locs develop over the years. You did a beautiful job!

Why you didn't braid or twist it to the Ends?

Think she might need to brush the relaxed ends to maintain the aesthetic. Overtime, with washing, the loose hair (tho straight) will start to knot and bunch up otherwise. I have a similar look with very mature locs and unless I twist my ends my hair will eventually loc (over a year; from experience). So I twist them. I also have a lot of loos ends that I brush every so often. I lOVE this look (hers and my own). Wish mine were as small as these but the style is unique, has incredible malleability, is ultra-feminine, and beautiful. Def best of all worlds (to me). CAN’T WAIT TO SEE THE TRAJECTORY of her growth and overall journey!!! Haven’t seen anyone w/ my style and def never anything this small. It’s gorgeous. And can push more people to embrace a loc journey.

@@Bindi_Marc Alrighty. I hear that the starter soap helps with the locing process. I also hear that the soap has a very distant smell, but I'm not looking forward to spending $15 on some soap to find out lol! So I'm definitely going to try the Alaffia soap for my baby locs, once they're installed! Thanks so much for sharing your journey and being as authentic as possible. I'm planning on microlocing my hair, myself in the next 3 weeks! I can't tell you how excited I am, I've been doing a lot of research (watching a lot of youtube lol), but I haven't come across many people with fine strands with low/med density that has interlocs/microlocs that are as small as 600+ with the 2pt rotation (though I might just opt for the 4pt rotation. Have you? I recently watched the video that you posted on the blonde locs with fine hair (Seneca Dunmore) If you could I would really appreciate it if you post more names of people that you have come across with finer microlocs ...?
