I had a 2013 Toyota Camry LE as a daily driver, and I loved it. It was great on gas, fun to drive, great on the freeway or in town driving and most importantly it was easy to maintain. It's 16 inch tires are full of air and you'll notice a smother ride as compared to thin 19 or 20 inch tires which you'll feel every rut and pothole on the road and are more expensive to replace. The 16 inch tires are inexpensive to replace, and so are the light bulbs. This car is perfect for most people who go to and from work everyday, run errands, weekend trips this Camry is your little work hose. It's a nice looking car and I'd buy one if I didn't own a Toyota Tacoma right now. You can't beat it.
Great optimism, great trim for folks with Uber/taxi .. only problem is LE might not have power driver seat without some package
@@harrytej
You don't need power seats.
Once it's set, you're not moving it again.
I agree with what you say but bigger tires are just to have better grip you can especially feel it around turns
Totally agree. I have had the Camry LE with option package (power seats, heated seats, and some other stuff). The 16 inch tires give me the ride that I want. I grew tired of blowing out tires in my 2007 Honda Accord EX-L V6. All the important stuff is there. The listed prices are deceptive. By the time I bought the car with taxes, destination fees, extended warranty, the price landed just short of $ 37,000. The ride is pretty tied down even with the standard suspension and the 16 inch tires. It is very quiet (especially for an entry trim.) If you do go with the XLE, the price will most likely be around $45,000 after all is said and done.
I love and want to buy 2025 Camry LE but My used 2010 Camry is not breaking down and still running like dream at 248k miles..
Sell it and use that for a down payment on a new one😅🤷♂️
@@jxmar_ new but used one ! Expecting 9-17% drop in on year by 11-13k miles
Hard to argue with that, keep that thing rolling!
@@AutoTrader I know where the market is going that car will not have any value.
But I used to rent it so I already made 2X out of it. I just want to see how good 2.5 liter engines are, and how far they can last.
I am really starting to like these Autotrader reviews. Short and straight to the points. Subscribed!
I'd get the SE too with the same options but in the heavy metal color
I'd get an XLE with optional premium package for memory seats and mirrors. My wife and I use our cars interchangeably and we are of very different sizes. Adjusting each mirror and slow power seat gets old real quick. I wish LE could be specced with memory seats/mirrors or and heated seats without any other extras like pano roof or hud or larger wheels
Would be nice if Memory Seats/Mirrors feature added to Convenience Package. Listening Toyota?
Pretty much the build I want to get, but Ocean Gem seems pretty rare in my parts.
Camry has always been one of the most if not the most reliable car in the history of auto making. Ever since the Model T came out, Toyota Camry has been the best selling vehicle in the United States year after year and its not even close. Even with the rises of SUVs and the sedan becoming more irrelevant, the Toyota camry still out sell everyone. The problem with the Camry for many years is the lack of styling and the lack of features for some customers. With the 2025 Camry, not only does it make it more attracted looking, it has all the features that some luxury cars even have. And not only that with the hybrid system it can give you the mpg many customer want. Customers like to use SUV for long road trips but maybe now they can choose this camry instead. And from the reviews I see, it also drives really well and dare I say a little fun. I wouldnt be shocked if this generation Camry will be the best selling generation of camry ever. The only thing that will stop it is because of the price markups that dealership will try to do to customers
2007 camry v6 here. I really like v6 power. And hesitant to buy the new one..
New one with AWD is almost as fast as the V6.
Much better gas mileage too.
The more I see these newer ugly models the more I appreciate the older ones especially the 6th gen Camry SE. Good looking classy cars
@checksandbalences I mean, newer camry looks good for me. But is it really worth paying an extra 40k+ for another camry? No..
@@Jin-ex8bk
Base model starts at 27K.
Same setup, better mpg
@nostradamus7648 does the base model of Camry 2025 start at 27k? That's a good price!! Actually
I wish they had a trim with full softex seats and smaller wheels.
Yeah, considering it is a hybrid, I feel the SE/XLE could have had 17"s, and the XSE with 18"s. Seems odd to build in the costs of a hybrid powertrain, and then slap on big wheels to reduce the MPG.
Isn’t getting softex seats installed cheaper? Isn’t that what we did like 10-20 years ago?
@@harrytej I rather it already come like that from factory. My 23’ Corolla hybrid XLE is the perfect spec.
@harrytej I think camry is slowly steering away from softex. It's not even offered in the new Crown Signia. It didn't work as planned
I’d get the LE awd with heated seats.
I have one in red. I really recommend that trim. The ride is really nice and a lot of features come standard.
What do you guys think of Panoramic roof? Does it make the cabin more noisy?
That's a great question, and I suspect there will be a bit more cabin noise but unless the seals go bad it shouldn't be too bad. And the light you can let in is always a nice touch.
@@AutoTrader
Not in Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas.
Too much heat.
Regular moon roof works though.
Too bad ventilated seats are only available on XLE as a package.
Definitely dont buy the JBL system. Comes with a bunch of fluff that makes it a costly package
But the electric battery is so expensive.
I wish Toyota sold normal sedans. Give the xse 16 inch rims, soft cloth seats and 6 inches of ground clearance and I would buy one right away.
I'm sure you'll find 1000 people willing to swap their 16 inch wheels with your XSE wheels. And I'm sure they'll offer you $800 or so for the trade. Heck if I get this car I plan to also "downgrade" from the 19" XSE to the 18" SE wheels.
You first have to grow up and get a driver's license kid lol
Weird looking just like the no Corolla
too bad these are hybird only. they are not radio friendly . including two way radios.
None. Incompetence has destroyed Toyota's reputation. Stay far, far away.
Which one to buy? Get the V6 while you still can and ditch these dynamic force unreliable shxts.
unreliable?
@@homepc1826 actually ive been wondering this, how reliable is the cvt? I know toyotas old engines were super super super reliable, but are the new ones?
The Ecvt is bullet proof it’s different than regular CVT. Replacing transmissions in the Prius is unheard of they never need it even at high miles
@@thegamingcar907 even the new toyota gas olny cvt has been good. adding first gear to the transmission improves reliability and drivability
I bought the Camry LE after owning a 2007 Honda EX-L V6. It is true that you don't get the initial jump factor but the hybrid Camrys have ample power.
