The video ended before we found out if the guy got something good in his pack. lol Anyway. Wow. What a blast from the past! So neat to see those cards getting made and the Beckett collectors guide! :)
"The winners supposed to keep the other player's cards" That is NOT how the freaking game works. No wonder the Islamic governments banned the game for "gambling"...
I remembered when base decks come out we was misinterpreting that rule. Then when the jungle deck card game rules come out it say take YOUR own prize whenever you knock out your opponents Pokemon!
I was born in 1997, but I remember watching pokemon as a kid. Nowadays kids don't go crazy over pokemon like they used to. Instead they go crazy over frozen
A lot of those Millennial kids are now in their 30's, and able to revive this love with deeper pockets than they had as kids, so they've got enormous collections today compared to 1999. At least those who stayed with it, some did stop when they became adults.
As of this year, the craze has come back to this. In my local shop; the cards have been sold out for 4 weeks straight. haven't seen anything like that since 1999
After The Phantom Menace, the nation was sweeping with Pokemon.
