I think most AI fears are overblown but if these guys ever start adding neural nets to dwarf fortress I think the countdown to AI armageddon starts! On a serious note a cool add on to dwarf fortress would be a tie in to DallE AI photo generator to the descriptions of legendary craftdwarfship or legendary beasts to generate pictures of those things would be pretty cool.

Brilliant interview, both parts. Dwarf Fortress is one my my favourite games and I feel I've barely even scratched the surface of it.
