The way Betterfly uses his power is the intent use for the Butterfly Miraculous. So its power is called Kamikotization and the butterflies are called kamikos that are attracted to positive emotions/intensions. Akumatization is the name for the power when used for evil, the same going for akumas that are attracted to negative emotions. That's why akuma means "demon" and is always seen as evil, as opposed to a kamiko whose name means "child of god".
The reason Marinette and Adrien look emo is not because they're going through a phase, but because they wanted to hide how using their powers repeatedly for evil is slowly killing them.
And also because of their respective depressions: Marinette because of Chloé's bullying and Adrien because of his grief.
A detail that i haven’t heard a lot of people talk about is the diary entries when shadybug reads the diary. The entries are from the short web episodes from youtube and I love that they are canon to the show and I love how shadybug gets jealous of her alternative worlds life because of it.
Never thought I would see a heroic version of Gabriel Agreste.
Fun fact about other AU in multiverse chase scene:
Scarabella Universe:
- Kittynoire and Scarabella actually fight peacock holder as a main villian instead of a butterfly
- Zoe probably stay in paris forever and didnt moved NY to paris like main counterpart.
Misterbug Universe:
- My headcanon is that adrien and mari probably had a lifeswitch tho where adrien is a baker while mari is a model.
Mari suit as ubiquity also change in some universe too since some of them she isnt LB holder which is why in scarabella AU, Her look is only just ubiquity and in (Kwami Swap AU) since shes a cat holder.. she also turned into ubiquinoire.
Also... about the Scarabella Universe... Master Fu did consider giving Alya the Ladybug Miraculous before deciding to give it to Marinette. Maybe that's the universe where he sticks with his first choice. And also... just because they face a Peacock Miraculous holder, it doesn't mean we don't have a Butterfly supervillain as well.
And about the Misterbug Universe... Maybe they have switched lifestyles... or maybe Master Fu just decided to give them different Miraculous.
Yeah but i like to think that peacock holder is a main villian in scarabella AU just to make it a lil different tho and butterfly miraculous in that AU probably will end with someone else later or some sort@@rafaelmatos5851

I really like Shadybug and Clawnoir, even though they're the alternate versions of our favorite superheroes. I also love their designs as well!!!
There are many theories about The Supreme and who he is. My personal theory is that the Supreme is actually Master Fu who just couldn't handle the Guardian training and, instead of using the Peacock Miraculous, he used the Ladybug and Cat ones to get a wish from Gimmi and that wish allowed him to become a tyranical Overlord that used the Miraculous to subjugate the world to his will. That would also be consistant to his symbol which is the Order of the Guardian's sigil but with an X over it, showing his disdain for them. There are also theories that the Supreme is in fact the one that appears to Lila/Cerise at the end of season 5 and she start working for/with him. But one thing is certain... Thomas has confirmed that having a spin-off set on the reverse universe would be unlikely, but we would see more of Betterfly, Shadybug (now Ladybug) and Claw Noir (now Paw Noir) in the future.
Yes, I've seen that theory floating around on Tumblr. If everybody in the Ladyverse has a Shadyverse counterpart, Master Fu maps to the Gabriel Agreste the closest.
This special is literally my favorite ever and i loved how they make kwami swap return as a canon universe along with scarabella/kittynoire duo too! and what surprised me during multiverse chase scene is that
they also shown anime and comic universe too like till this day i replay that scene like alot :D
They actually confirmed too that we'll see more of Re-Verse AU again in the future and will definietly see the counterpart of Re-Verse AU again too ^^

It was pawesome that we got to see an anime version of the characters for a brief moment. And I am pawsitive that the long-time fans immediately thought about the original version of the show when they saw that.
I feel so bad for Shadybug and Clawnoir. They deserve better.
You can never be entirely sure what the writers of this particular series will do, but as the New York and Shanghai specials were ultimately tied into the series proper, it feels safe to say that this one will influence events in season 6 onwards.
There's an argument that in this episode Miraculous dives into the realm of science fiction: the concept of alternate universes is a familiar sci-fi trope, after all, especially when it explores the possibility of inverting characters by making them polar opposites (good guys becoming evil and evil becoming good in the alternate reality). Unusually, where alternate reality characters tend to remain the same and the plot is therefore geared towards the effect it has on those from 'our' reality, in this episode we saw the alternates impacted by their encounter with our reality: Marinette and Adrien helped their counterparts to see that they could change and achieve what they desire more effectively by taking a less hostile approach.
It was certainly interesting to see Gabriel using the Butterfly Miraculous for good, using the akumas (kumikos) to turn others into heroes, but only with their consent. (It means that we've also seen Ladybug akumatised, at long last, even if it wasn't to villainous effect!) And of course it was fascinating to see the analogues of Ladybug and Cat Noir - ShadyBug and Claw Noir - antagonising each other despite supposedly working together, and with Alt-Adrien being the one to have a crush on Alt-Marinette who is disdainful and even hateful towards his affection, where the 'prime' Adrien was simply oblivious to the feelings 'prime' Marinette had for him. Yet there are also points that tantalise - evidently Alt-Emilie was rendered inactive, if not even killed, by using the Peacock Miraculous, but that opens the question: "How come this one was damaged?" And, as the creators of the show continue doing their utmost to render Chloe Bourgeois irredeemable, we discover that she's an equally bad egg in both universes - rather like Shakespeare's plays are said to be equally grim in Star Trek's 'Prime' and 'Mirror' universes.
One aspect that could be said to let this one down is the manner of the storytelling, which features plenty of verbal exposition but not much in the way of visual exposition. Telling the audience what's been going on, or what is going on, in the alternate universe slows things down a bit and there's not all that much representation of it on screen. Of course, that could be because the creators want to whet viewers' appetites for what they might show of the other universe in future episodes....
Favourite scenes? The montage of alternate realities with Ladybug stopping Monarch in each was quite effective - and you got your amime fix in that one, Luna! - and while it was indeed moving to see the epiphanies of Shadybug and Claw Noir as Marinette and Adrien reasoned with them, it was also quite poignant to see Gabriel / Betterfly as a good guy, having witnessed the end of his arc in the season 5 finale.

This special was really amazing I love it so much and I’m glad you finally watched it btw there’s going to be a new miraculous special potentially coming out this August for right now the name of it is the end of ladybug there’s not a lot of information on it but it is set to come out this August so we’ll see I just thought you should know great reaction
Hi. I just came here to say that I've watched a ton of your Miraculous reactions and I've loved them! There's no place to just comment on a person's account in general, so I just put it on a most recent Miraculous reaction. :) You got me to go into rewatching the entire series, including episodes I didn't like and didn't want to watch again, like Animan or that one in season 5 where Kim had pranked Marinette with spiders in the past. Loved your stuff and it was fun hearing about your family journey, too, and seeing bits of them and your pets. I came along late so I got to see it all in about a month instead of seeing it over 8 years. Kind of like I did with Miraculous, where I didn't start watching season 1 until half of season 5 was already in English, so I didn't have to wait 8 years for that, either! XD

You said in the end of your video that Marinette didn't reach out to Gabriel in the end of season 5 but it's not entirely the case.
Yes she failed to convinced Gabriel to make the wish BUT she convice him to change it.
At first his wish was to bring her wife back and the consequence to that was to kill a random person. But with Marinette words he change his wish. He understand that Adrien is not alone and he actually wish to sacrifice his life and bring back Nathalie's life for Adrien.
And we can thanks Marinette for that.
Why would I thank canon Marinette for trusting a terroist?! She should’ve just ended him aka murder him! He didn’t deserve mercy!
The only version of Marinette I respect is Emonette aka Shadybug. And thankfully our canon pest bug gets a bit of karma.
