finally a great video about smartphones deserving an award, from an Asian perspective, and covers all the lesser known brands too!
all the big youtubers are usually obsessed with iPhones, Pixel, Samsung etc, which are more readily available in US / Europe.
this video seems more logical than other mainstream youtubers' versions

Great ranking!! We agree on most rankings!! Including giving tecno the best looking foldable though debatable due to the Motorola V20 ultra/ razr plus. Samsung Z flip 5 takes the best overall flip smartphone. 0ther rankings may include the cheapest foldable which tecno phantom V fold would take without a doubt. Honor magic V2 would take the thinnest foldable of 2023.
just a suggestion making it a little similar to others will help us to relate or you can say it will be more understanding. and another thing is you are not giving any pause. just give some pause or else it is overwhelming. other than that you guys are already unique on your own .

I totally agree with (almost) all the picks here. The Tecno picks and the Vivo flip awards were wrong for me
2023 is the year which has clearly set smartphones for US, Europe, Japan, South Korea on one side, smartphones for rest of Asia on the other side, South America and Africa in the middle
Most BBK brands has left France and Germany.
Xiaomi still can't make it in Europe : people prefer Samsung A34 and A54.
On the long term, i think Google will take Xiaomi marketshare in Europe.

Vivo X100 Pro and Meizu 21 are on the newest gen chipsets, Dimensity 9300 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. They shouldn't be on the list if you're including phones like Samsung S23U, Xiaomi 13U which are on the previous SG8 Gen 2
Tecno having two awards
Great overall top smartphone roundup, but I have to disagree with the "best fordable smartphone" category. The Huawei Mate X 5 is better than the find x 3 in all but price. Its completely waterproof, has a better camera, slightingly bigger screen and bigger battery. It is also much thinner. As far as I can see the only advantage of the one plus open/find N3 is the price, which indeed is much better.

It's mostly Chinese domestic models. I don't think Pixels are officially sold in China. For some reason the Nubia Z50S Pro and the newly released Z60 Ultra have never been featured on this China and both are noteworthy phones.
