Incredible images from last October 27, 2023 at 11:40am, summiting Mount Trishul, after 20 years. An expedition led by Kumaun Regiments, with the Indian Army team and led by Alpinista Joe.
Mount Trishul is a prominent peak in the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand, India. It is part of the Garhwal Himalayas and is known for its distinctive trident-like shape, which gives it its name (“Trishul” 🔱 means trident in Sanskrit).
Mount Trishul’s unique shape, historical significance, and challenging climbing routes make it a notable and revered peak in the Himalayan mountaineering community. 🤩 What can you tell us about this incredible peak?
