Great! I'm curious about Reavers in general as I feel like this patch broke, or at least required modification of, a bunch of their prior optimized builds.@@Ic0nGaming
I just finished a reaver campaign with bird people and I must say it was the most fun I had up until now. Not sure how the last update broke the reavers. Sniping everything for sometimes more than 100 damage per hit with killing spree (forgot the exact name - the thing that gives you one AP back on kill). Auto battles pretty much don't work so you have to fight every battle but it's so satisfying I wanted more. Something weird though is that the magelocks don't seem to benefit from the tome of amplification. The 30% damage spread works on glade runners but not on magelocks for some reason. I unlocked the ascension trait : seer and guess what? +2 range for your starting sniper hero (shoots 7 tiles away at lvl 1...)
I guess I thought the enchantmwnt changes that moved the range increase seemed to mess with a ton of builds, but at least it didn’t seem to hurt the culture proper too much.
That Sabertooth Build is going to be absolutely smoking when it comes out.
Excellent work all this week, God bless you and your work ethic.
I really like primal crow for the necromancer build flavor-wise.
highkey, im so sad they went with the ice mamoth ONLY for the dark culture tomes (although a focus on the Deep Freeze tome is p dope)
do you have a playtrough of this build?
Do you think the new Necromancy mechanics have any real synergy with the Reaver culture? Really curious what your thoughts are on in that area.
Can definitely see the marking bonus damage working there. Will give it a proper try soon!

Thanks for another great Age of Wonders 4 Primal Fury guide video. Will you be continuing the Primal Necromancer let's play series, Ic0n Gaming?
I plan to do so, most likely a longplay stream thought (1-2 hours runtime)
