The short film project “Weaver” is the story of envy, unfairness and manipulation of weaker opponents. In the end, both sides have to pay with a higher price than they expected. The story is told through the perspective of animals, for animals have uncomplicated behavior and have no rules to restrain their survival instincts. We hope this short film will cultivate good moral traits regarding fairness in our society.

I love how the music wants it to be sinister but the spider's face just makes her look moderately sad at all times.

TBOT's Place her face is actually what makes it scary to me, she looks sad but she’s not, she is actually planning on killing others and eating them. Pretty creepy to me.

This is beautiful, I've seen things like this in nature. Survival of the fittest. Awesome job.
Soooo incredibly well done! Both the webs and the spiders are incredibly realistic - even recognizable to species, and their movements are so well done! And the story have a moral too - excess of envy only will perjudice you. The bee-eater twist was totally unexpected!
Just curiosity, why the budgerigar sounds in the credits?
At the end they showed us a long beaked bird eating the spider. Then the scene ended and there were chirps of a parakeet. So did the parakeet eat the other bird?

I’m scared of spiders, but at the same time I can’t help but find them fascinating sometimes. The way they slowly walk across their webs makes them look so fragile and delicate, but they’re not, they’re a force to be reckoned with. Not only that, but they’re smart too: there’s a video showing a spider cutting a butterfly out of its web because it recognizes that the butterfly is poisonous. That being said, I think the animators here did a good job of capturing the movement and actions of the spiders👍
I laughed until my abs hurt and my shorts were soaked with pee. I love spiders, but I don't think they would be that stupid to get food. And the sad looks on their face! (Wheeze)

yeah. in my opinion, "Loom" is way better than this. not saying that this short was bad, but it wasn't that much impressive like Loom.
i think because they used clichée elements, like the string-horror-like music. and their character introductions were a bit confusing, i needed a few seconds to realize that there were 2 spiders.
or maybe it's just me.
