Your channel is underrated. You just need that one viral video. Ever thought of breaking down the striking in a UFC fight on time? Like The Weasle does. If you upload a breakdown early after the fight, it might boost channel mate. Think about it.
*The Bioneer, Adam, recommended your channel, well done.* *I am not that coordinated, but your instruction here is very clear and I am giving these moves a try today after work!*
THE Shadow boxing in random places is relatable...happens most regularly when i wait for my coffee to boil in the kitchen XD ...great informative vid as usual man..great work.
Great video I'm starting to get into fighting and love the cleaness of your techniques, could you please make a video on your stance and how you throw certain moves such as uppercut elbows and blocking love you vids and keep inspiring us to do better
Shadowboxing is one of my Best and my usefull Tool for me to Improve My Boxing and Other Martial arts After I Sub into Grant stevens a I learned a lot as Martial artist That's where My punching Technique Improve A lot and Became Almost Look alike Grants "Aesthetic technique" but he has more faster kicks than me haha
Or when you warm up your food in the microwave and go mike Tyson for 30 seconds 😂. phenomenal video man very resourceful and I can watch you shadow box all day long 🔥👍🏽
48 yrs old here,,was kick boxer during teens into 20's. Then judo. Now after both knees replaced I have to disregard any leg impacts or strikes etc. Its boxing now only option. Although I always hated punching it's a bitter sweet relationship.
How do I start getting better technique for each individual move? Do I dedicate the whole focus session after the shadowing boxing to the technique I want to master? Also, should I be worried about building bad habits while doing the combos?
There’s many different ways to do this. The way you need to develop technique is best done in a shadowboxing sense as a beginner because striking targets like bags and pads change the punch. So build the foundation by just executing the techniques in mid air, preferably with a mirror so you can see the form. Do this without concentrating on things like footwork and movement first then when you’re more comfortable you can build a shadowboxing workout using the techniques you’re comfortable with
Hey Grant ! Coming from the Bioneer video you posted few days ago and I'll try this new type of workout ! In the Bioneer video, you give us a workout in 5 rounds. Do you advise to add kicks in this workout like in this video ? +1 sub and gonna see your whole channel now :)
Thanks brother! It entirely depends on which level you're at. If you've never done any shadowboxing I recommend staying away from the kicks for the time being and look at adding them when you're more comfortable with the basic punches and combo's
Hey guys which hook do you prefer, Thumb inward or thumb upward and why? I practice both but when the times come I always have this split second dilemma of which hook to use. Help me overcome this
