I have that same board but I'm having a hard time with getting the yarn to go thru at the top. I pull it tighter but it's not working. Maybe I'm not tall enough and need to be on a step stool lol.

Dod you stop using burlap fabric?
I did. I use primary cloth now just because it’s easier to use while teaching in person classes
