What glue do you use to hold your yarn in?

Hey there! Thanks for the demo and review! I've been searching the net upside down trying to find something better than than over priced wood one that comes with a lot of the kits! I was concerned about how well it held the fabric and it looks great! I'm guessing I missed the discount code, I think I saw the dated ended already! I'm about to buy the whole kit and it's a chunk of change! But this frame is the nicest I've seen so far. I was going to try the medal frame with the twist knobs instead of nails but after reading the reviews, everyone was complaining that the fabric won't stay taught so that won't work! I just thought it might be safer with Miss Accident prone over here not using nails! So I think I'm going for this one! I hope it's not crazy expensive! I am the Virgin Mary of Tufters getting ready to Tuft for the first time!! I'm excited and nervous to get my kit ordered up and start Tufting my face off!! haha No one talks about yarn. Can you use different thickness? Is there an optimal thickness and type that works better? A brand? Or material, like 100% acrylic, wool, blends? Do you ever combine punch embroidery if you want to add a different look? Should I get a kit that comes with a bunch of yarn or better to seek out my own? Sorry for all the questions! I have that same board but I'm having a hard time with getting the yarn to go thru at the top. I pull it tighter but it's not working. Maybe I'm not tall enough and need to be on a step stool lol.

Hi Tugs Rugs, I'm currently working on my own rug making projects and I noticed that you're using a backing fabric that looks exceptionally durable and aesthetically pleasing. I'm very interested in learning more about it, such as the name, description, and where I can find it. Currently the backing fabric I purchased is a type of woven fabric which frays when cut, which obviously is not the quality I am after.

Thank you, i've been looking to get into tufting, but i was worried about dealing with a normal frame. this seems like a great alternative

The material you used at the back. You glued it the other way round. This structure should be on the outside, it is a non-slip material 😅

Alright just started so hitting vids like crazy but seen you few times and just saw u had same problem i did wanting to kick a ball for no center string if not under label stick fingers in find bundle and pull out till single sting and untagle wad they cut it long bundle and stuff if mind plowing but knew had to be a way and theres avid if ya look for it
