FISHING for CATFISH in the RIO GRANDE RIVER

Spent about half the day (only because thats all I could stand) fishing the Rio Grande River in Albuquerque. The heat in Albuquerque was crazy, but the catfish bite was on fire! what size hook are you using? i use 1/0 but the cats keep spitting it n im not sure if its hook size or if im not setting good

I use a 5/0 or a 6/0 octopus circle hook. Usually with those hooks the cats will hook themselves. Rarely loose any also 👍
