Elise you remind me so much of myself! I have a similar lifestyle. I have an online vintage shop and sell household items. I visit thrift stores every week and when I come home, I also unpack my purchases and look at everything I've bought with great excitement. I work in the garden often and enjoy it tremendously. I clean and rearrange my house just like you with an eye for detail. What you have taught me is that there is joy in doing all of the chores and to take it slow. To do it thoroughly and make every day count. You do so much, yet make it seem like fun whilst you remain calm. At least that is what it appears like! It is as if I now simulate your ways of how you approach all of these things. I sit in my little work shop in the corner of the house with my special glass, mug, candle holder, music and view on the pear and apple trees in the garden. It is bliss and I feel blessed. Thank you for opening my eyes to the beauty of leading such a life! I live in the Netherlands not too far from you. Have a wonderful weekend.
That is exactly the key to a happy life! Enjoy the moment! Use your special things every day, like the fine porcelain, and the favourite shirt. Create beautiful moments for yourself, and for others. Give your smile freely, because it is contagious!😊
I'm exactly the same! All the way over here in country Australia, selling vintage homewares too. I thrifted all morning (bliss) then came home, unpacked washed and researched everything, now I sit here relaxing with a lemonade and feeling that even though life sometimes feels 'pretty ordinary', it's really important to enjoy the moments and remember how blessed I am, to do what I love, at my own pace. The only thing I lack is the garden - but one day!
I love hearing people from small countries talk about road trips❤. Seriously, it takes an hour of driving (100km) just to get a takeout coffee, go thrifting or get groceries. I am 324 km from the nearest city, that's a 6 hour drive round trip! But I love small town living!!!
@@EliseBuch When I was a kid my dad would take us for "car rides" on his day off. We would drive 3 hours round trip for Big Mac's..... 🇨🇦 It takes 6 hours E/W or 10 hours N/S to drive across our province, so LOTS of driving opportunities!
Those were the best thrift shops I’ve seen Elise😊. Huge, and with a café! You’ve found some lovely autumnal pieces for your webshop. I was impressed with your willpower that you didn’t keep more of them! Thanks for taking us along 😍
The shade of green (soft olive) is perfect with the wallpaper. Love the color scheme of your bedroom. Thank you for taking us thrift shopping with you. Have a wonderful weekend.
Beautiful collection today. 🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁Those “cans” are called “jugs” or “pitchers” your small container is called a “ginger jar”. The large one is a storage container with a lid. Or a vase with a lid. Keep up the good job. Love visiting for a wonderful time to learn from you. I’m from the USA.👍
Yes! We should definitely go more often! 😁 I totally loved the table lamp and the hanging lamp that you showed us in the last shop you visited! And you made some awesome purchases too 😁
I was thinking that as someone who enjoys thrifting so much, Elise could do more frequent big thrifting trips like this one, even if only three or four times a year. And not just for we viewers, but for her own pleasure. Always love to see what she buys!
I would say if you keep thinking of that hanging lamp for your kitchen, then take us back there and buy it. ❤ I have an imaginary house in Denmark for all the beautiful things that I see when going thrifting with you, as well as a lovely wardrobe from your shop❤ love the velvet ruffle on that exquisite embroidered pillow ❤.
The second thrift shop with the cafe would need a second go round to make sure that I didn’t miss a treasure that I couldn’t live without.😂TY for a memorable thrift hunt.🌻🌾🍂
Another lovely video, Elise. I love your thrifting adventures and this one was a lot of fun. The scarf at the end of your haul looks like it came from the sixties.
I loved so many of the beautiful old polished wood furniture pieces they had in those shops. I could go wild in there, also the lovely paintings of the countryside too. It's funny you know, that orange dress you're wearing, I had the same style of dress for my going away dress in 1979. It was sort of different shades of turquoise and had gold painted designs in the fabric. Lovely Indian cotton fabric which was very popular then. It was really beautiful and I still have it packed up somewhere. Loved that dress, so ethereal and light.
I just love to go thrifting with you. It is a lot of fun. I think you should go definetly more often than once a year to those "further away" stores. Maybe quarterly/seasonly. That would be great. And you could look at the trip as a business trip as well. I mean, you do get stuff for Bohemian Wonders too ;-) So, this would be a fun thing for you, at the same time good for your business and also great for us viewers. See, three perfectly great reasons 🙂 I really loved that checkered dress with the ruffles. That was so cute. 🥰
Also, this is one of my favorite videos yet. I just love how your home is coming together, the beautiful new fall collection for Bohemian Wonders, and the lovely shots of your garden. 💞
Hello Elise, when I see the furniture etc in the thrift shops in your country, I am staggered by the variety and the generosity of the donators. Enjoy the road trips and seeing your choices, home and garden looking good, love this time of year. Hugs and Blessings to you. 💚🌹
Hello from the southern u.s. Elise! You are always a ray of sunshine, no matter what the weather. Thanks for taking me along on this thrifting adventure! ❤
Loved the vlog today, as those thrift stores are only an hour and 5 mins away, you can always pop back and get the light for your kitchen. I enjoyed imagining that I had a big house for some of that furniture and art. You have a good eye Elise and you always manage to find something beautiful. I hope you have a great weekend and wonderful week. I love the green paint for the computer desk too (far better than poke your eye blue).
Elise, the smaller ceramic piece with the top that you weren't sure about keeping would look perfect in your living room! It has all of the right colors, especially to match your living room sofa. I hope that you keep it!
Love your videos!!! You had some beautiful thrifted finds today. You’re such a darling person Elise!!! Enjoy yourself everyday!!!!! Love from NC 🇺🇸 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Yes I really enjoyed the road trip. Beautifully organized thrift stores. Loved the yellow coat with dark fur collar and the red vintage coat. Nice green color for the office workspace. Thank you Elise. Have a wonderful weekend.
In Australia, what you call a can we call jugs. I think your little floral jars (commonly known as ginger jars in Australia) would look lovely on your shelf above your dining nook if they would fit. Lastly.. yes lots of thrifting please. Loved this video. Such a pleasure to watch.
I wish that you had kept that needlepoint pillow, it would have looked wonderful on you sofa. More field. trips, please. Love your videos, you are e in-another life. Thank you always.
Ooh I love the 2 story huge 2 story thrift place. 😮❤ So nice organized and a cafe, love all the art work and at such low cost. Darn! But those embroidered art work at beautiful! I loved that one with the cross & the window pane. Wooo! Gorgeous! I would have bought it! ❤
Hello Elise, I so look forward to your video’s. Friday is definitely my favorite day of the week because I get to see my friend Elise. A lot of good finds at the thrift store’s. Love the yellow coat. That would look good with that scarf. Until next Friday, stay safe and much love ❤️. 😊🌻🦋
You found some beautiful pieces Elise, and I love the second thrift store, it’s been set up so beautifully, love the co-ordinating colours, tfs x Julie 🇬🇧
I think you should make that an annual thrift "road trip", those are amazing stores. Love the little resale mall too. Thank you for bringing us with on your treasure hunt. 👗👛👚🌻❤
Elise, you should definitely go more often. They had lovely things. In fact, you should go back and get that ceiling light fixture for above your kitchen sink. And the cute pans that you came upon right after the light fixture. They’d look perfect on your stovetop. You should keep the smaller ginger jar and put it with the beautiful one you kept. I love those patterns together, the gold trim ties them together. Very bohemian look. I think you’ve hit upon the right green for the cabinet. Can’t wait to see it when you’re done! Looking forward to next week!❤️
I think it was worth your time and gas to go to those 2 thrift shops!! You did find some great products for yourself as well as your store!! Blessings.
I would go wild in those thrift shops! Such beautiful furniture and home decor! I love your thrifting videos... Almost as much as I love your Vlogmas videos in December!!! I hope you will do that this December. Denmark is magical at that time of year and I love seeing Christmas traditions and decorations and baked goods and Christmas Tree hunting! Thank you for all your wonderful videos, Elise!!! ❤
Yup more often. Love the green paint replacing the bright blue on cabinet. Looks great with wallpaper. I would love for you to explain more of cooking your meals. Your veggie things you put together look so good! Inspiration for less meat and interesting things you put together.
Love thrifting with you. Yes, go more often. Such beautiful furniture and treasures. Your thrift stores are so put together nicely and clean, unlike many of ours in Florida.
So so so autumn….beautiful colors on you and surround you! Unique fascinating lamp that was there….maybe go back to get that one and for the one in kitchen too? Intriguing. Hope the BF also shares your love of color & design & admires you pulling these bits together to create a warm, cozy home and shop! Best to him for seeing you.
So pretty, the outfit is lovely. Love going thrifting with you. The thrift shops there are so nice. The couches are always so nice and clean, everytime I see them I see several I would want. The thrift stores there are so well arranged and clean! I thought the pillow you bought would look lovely on your sofa because of the brown trim. I also really like the green color you were painting the picture frame. I think that one would look great on the cabinet in your bedroom because it has more of a blue undertone which would look good with your wallpaper. The other greens seem to have too much of a yellow undertone. Your home looks so cozy and welcoming and it's all because of the heaps of work you've done on it. All the best to you!
Happy to see you full of new strength and with a lovely smile. Everything you buy is so nice and never fail finding things I, myself, would grab at once. So,Elise, congrats on your new you!!!❤
What a fun trip! Thrifting for 3 hours is normal for me LOL - when my brother visits we go antiquing and that's usually 5+ hours. We go hard! There are few things better than hunting for vintage though, it's just the best. 💗
I love all the old cabinets, paintings, and needlework pieces you have in your charity shops! I have a purse very similar to the black floral one you found. Do you think you’ll be getting anymore of the large tops in the rust color? I was too late to get one. I’m sorry for all the negative comments you’ve gotten. You deserve to be happy and to be loved. Can’t wait to see your future country home.😉

The thrift stores in Denmark are amazing! So well-organized and clean😊
They looked so very clean AND displayed so pretty.".Everything said come over and take me home" ❤❤
Especially all the original art!
It was so surprising for me as well, in my country the thrift or charity shops are usually small, crowded and dirty. 😄
I thought so 2 and also beautifull vintage things.
If you want to make this thrift trip more regular I would definitely enjoy watching them. My suggestion is twice a year or for each season ❤
