In this video, we look at the Global giants Gree from China, Daikin from India competing to win in the Indian Air-conditioner market which will become the 3rd largest in the world by 2050. How will the local giants like Voltas, Blue Star compete? Should they compete or cooperate?

Please analyse commercial vehicle manufacturing companies in India like Ashok Leyland, Tata motors, Mahindra, Richer, etc. As Indian infrastructure are developing there should also be disruption with respect to EV And conventional vehicle. Thank you in advance.
It seems investing in AC companies will not be profitable. Please discuss about the GAS used in compressor Like R32 and R410A. I think Honneywell has the technolodgy, not sure whether they produce in India or not. As a consumer we have to replace GAs every 3-5 years and that is also a big market.

सर सेल्फ analysis achha किया पर 100%सही नही है,क्यों की कभी लोकल ac repair वाले से पूछ ले ली 100%new assemble AC बनाने में कितना cost आता है तब सारा cost analysis clear ho जाएगा?compressor 10 हजार में मिलता है और circuit 1200 में बाकी बाकी aluminium और copper ट्यूब और इनकी कास्ट मेकिंग 18000_20000 से अधिक नही आने वाली है 2 ton ki baki sabilizer alag se cost lete hai.

Sir agar boom pe hai ye industry tab tension lena hi kyoun. dono companies buy kar lete hai 50% 50% ... for example agar ek sector mein hum max 20k lagate hai tab dono companies mein 10k laga dete hai. fir kulla khet farukkha badi
One sad part of Indian industry even conglomerate is that they do not invest in r&d, fresher talented people. There is hardly any listed Indian company (except IT)who give opportunity for freshers new talent. There are some except to it.

Had recently purchased carrier ac. Just my point of view.
ACs have around 28% GST.
If we consider 40000 Rs to be the average price of an AC sold today. GST comes around to be approx 9000 Rs.
Companies' margin at 8% after GST they make around 2500 Rs.
Gov earns 9000 Rs
Company makes 2500 Rs
And if they are profitable they will pay taxes too.
So it's the government who would be milking the AC sector in next 20 years.
And I don't think whether they care about it's the AC from Voltas, Daikin or Hitachi. At the end their economics is sorted 😅
Awesome videos. The way you are explaining the broader themes is much more important than stock tips. Please keep making such conceptual videos. Length till 90-120 min no problem.
Small feedback.. I worked in Godrej, Whirlpool and Subros, so have basic understanding of air conditioning. Compressor doesn't compress gas into liquid. It increases the pressure of refrigerant gas, which, when it expands in evaporator, pressure suddenly reduces, causing cooling. However, this has no relevance to the subject you covered, so it's not important for your topic 🙂

Indian AC manufacturers have very low efficiency and doesn't work in extreme heat. Mitsubishi heavy & Ogeneral are gold standard. Also Indian manufacturers like Voltas, Carrier etc. use cheap chinese compressors that worn out after 2-4 years.
