I relate to you so much and am in a similar stage of life. Longer wake windows saved us! We ALWAYS get up at 7am, nap somewhere between 12-2, then 8pm bed. Never thought my 2yo kiddo would be asking to go night night, but here we are! Having that more guaranteed time to myself means everything ❤
Mom of 2 toddlers here 🙋🏻♀️ if my 3 year old starts waking up in the night (doesn’t happen often but maybe once every few months), I tell her very sternly before bed that she needs to sleep and if she wakes up and it’s still dark, then she needs to go back to sleep. I think just having that little conversation has helped us so much! Anyway, hope it gets better for you mama 🫶🏼
YES!! Please share more about you personally and what's helping you get out of the low mental state. Fellow toddler mom here, I feel like I'm always on an emotional roller coaster with a mental break down every few months🙃 I know the solutions are somewhat simple.. like self care. But It's so refreshing to see other moms going through it. Thank you for being open so we can all relate and feel less alone!❤
Right now my son who just turned 3 on the first is obsessed with his Duplo blocks and Duplo train. Which is also fun for us to play with him and build. Love love your daily vlogs I love when you keep me company !! Hugs to Rocky and Ekko! They are precious !
We just went through some sleep issues with my 2ish year old, I’ve always sworn by no lights in the room at nighttime ever since we sleep trained, but my husband thought maybe he was freaked out at this age by not being able to see anything when he wakes up in the middle of the night, so we got one of those nightlights that shines stars on the ceiling, and he hasn’t cried throughout the night since! Just wanted to share that tip for anyone ☺️
My son has always been a difficult sleeper. We put an Echo Glow light in his room when he was 2.5 and set it on a schedule to turn green at 6:30 am. We showed it to him when we got it and said you have to wait for the green light to get up. If the light isn’t green it’s still time to sleep. It worked so well! This was after we fazed out all night feedings so if that is still an issue, you might need to do that first. Good luck!! Love watching your videos and your sweet family.
Birthday ideas- bath stuff! Color changing tablets, bath bombs, etc. new markers or play dough toys! We also love getting a new book and something to play with outside to keep toys inside to a minimum
love your videos and updates sooo much, makes me look forward to toddlerhood! currently have a one year old daughter and i can tell it’s only going to get more fun! 🤍💕 blessings to your fam!
Hi AZ girl here 🌵😊 Never miss a vlog love following along your journey of life with toddlers! I have a 20 month old myself and I’m taking your tips down rn of toy rotation to encourage independent play! I HIGHLY suggest for the toddler sleep to try the Huckleberry nap! I’ve used it since my daughter was a newborn and it has helped me so much as she’s grown when to extend her wake windows. She’s been a great sleeper luckily. Looooove you btw 🤍
Nap earlier, is my best advice. My almost 2 year old wakes at 6am naps at 11 for about an hour and half, then bed at 6:30. Also I know it's hot there but get them outside every day, it will help them sleep. It will get easier.
So So hard when our kids regress in their sleep! I can tell you are exhausted as I have totally been there. I think talks throughout the day reallyyy help with the sleep regressions. How important it is for our bodies, how when you wake up- to try and fall asleep again all by ourselves like a big boy/girl (heck even use spider-man as inspo for how he sleeps all throughout the night without waking up and getting mama/dada), and to make it a goal to see if we can have a night where we sleep all through the night, etc. For Ekko not sleeping well at night the same conversations but also reminding yourself that this is an unfortunate developmental part of two. And soon she will settle back into regular nights of good sleep. It's SOO hard to feel patient in this. For Rocky toy suggestions! If you do not have a wooden train set yet that is totally a favorite and I'm sure Ekko will love it too! I am gifting my daughter a train set for her 2nd birthday because every time we go anywhere with a train set my daughter immediately gravitates to it! Marketplace usually has tons! The more tracks the better! Also annual passes to fun local places! Gives you time to get out of the house too! Maileg Mice & Mama Made Them cars on Etsy for peg people! Potty training question! Did Ekko hold her poop at all? My daughter pooped on the potty the second day of potty training but she's starting to get a little constipated & holding it. I am worried because I don't know if we should take a break and try again in 2-3 weeks or just push through and offer her lots of liquids.
@@Brook.Gonzales thank you for these tips & just making me feel seen 🥲 we have trains but they’re in a drawer and I think I need to display them more!! So thank you :) Also yes my kids tend to hold for a few days and it’s a bit of a struggle when they’re ready but it’s getting easier and easier for her! I try to make sure they get plenty of foods that don’t cause constipation. She luckily won’t hold too long but if it gets iffy I will definitely just let her go in a pull up and move on from there ❤️
I have two under two right now and am struggling with my toddlers napping. I’m so so so unbelievably thankful that she sleeps so well at night right now. I always look to you and Megan Acuna for parenting tips. Hehe. You’re such an amazing mom and I’m sorry I don’t have any advice. 🙈🥺🫶🏻
2 year old and 3 year old. They wake up every night and come into our room to sleep in my husband and I's bed. It won't always be this way and they don't keep us up for more than a few minutes so we're savoring this time!
Loved this video, ty! Just fyi, banza pasta tested super high on glyphosate in recent testing; I was so bummed bc it was my go to for the higher protein and I thought it was a healthy option. Just wanted to let you know as we all try to feed our families in the best way we can! 💕
We do our quiet time after lunch. I set up my kids in their rooms and we call it "rest and digest " wow that sounds corney. But it works. Especially after lunch when their belly's are full.
Love the honest parenting chats! My son is around your daughter’s age and we’re just about to welcome another baby next week. I love watching your channel for your honest advice. Keep doing you! Fake it til you make it, right?😅
We got our four year old the Yoto player and she's been obsessed! They have lots of cards for stories or music. I think there's another brand Tonies? also. She plays and listens to stories or just sits and listens in her bed.
4th birthday!!! I have an 11 month old and was just introduced to your channel by searching for things to do with a nine month old. 🤍 love your channel!

Do quarter round moulding on the side of the bookcase! Nail it into the bookcase or wall, it’ll close the gap but take up less visual space.
