You could always put a baby gate on the outside of the doorframe since the door swings inwards. That way if he opens the door, it’s straight to a baby gate and you guys can hear him better from the open door. 😊

3 is just the perfect time to transition. My son just slept in his new bed no problems. He had toys in his room, I think that’s just the age where they can handle the transition, understand it and they’ve already mastered sleeping skills in their crib.
We do have a separate playroom now but at the time we did not and he never tried. We have a rule follower also lol and he has a lot of autonomy and privileges because we’ve never had to take any away.

Can you share Rocky’s daily schedule for sleep? How do you get him to bed by 7 when he still naps?! I’m struggling to get my son to bed before 9 some days

Like when does he wake/when do you get him in the morning, naps, bedtime ect. Aww, he did so good! My son is 1 month older than Rocky and is also Paw Patrol obsessed...the colors are too much for me but I let him wear the designs on pajamas, socks or underwear so he's happy and I don't have to see them too much 😀
That’s so great! We didn’t really have a night routine & didn’t have a hatch initially, & my boy isn’t a rule follower, so it did not go well for us haha. I’ve learned better with my 2nd, she’s in a sleep sack & I have a plan for if she tries to climb out before I’m ready. But my poor son fell out of his toddler bed (w rails) too many times & refused the bed & would only sleep on the floor. He hated having the door closed & was so afraid of being alone & of the dark. It’s been a 3 year struggle lol 😂 I’m hoping he’ll decide he’s a big boy who can stay in his bed & room soon 🙏🤞 I’m going to try for a new routine once he starts kinder in the fall.

Wondering about the lamp in the cord to the lamp does he touch that and try to play with it? I'm almost ready to transition my girls from crib to bed, but I'm trying to childproof their room and get rid of everything that has hazardous like cords and covering the outlets and putting everything in the closet or out of the room. Locking their dresser drawers and closet doors.
