This song feels very relevant to today and this time period. Older songs have had themes of witches and knights and fantasy ships carrying angels this is just very real I like it
But that older song is also have life lesson that relevant to todays society aswell, such as rosetta, mushrooms, and camelia..its just that they dont have a lyric that as straightforward as this song so they often overlooked.. And the others is not just about knight and fantasy, they also have deep meaning and lesson into it for more specific matter such as red dahlia, bathtub mermaid and galahad and the witch universe's song..

Themes of selfishness, stepping on others to get to a higher ranking was portrayed perfectly in Mushrooms. Heck, the entire Scientific Witchery/AI Love universe was a beautifully crafted series of songs. Let's not forget Nine Point Eight, they literally used couplets to make both the first and second verse contrast in the right ways while progressing. I could talk about the beauty of Nine Point Eight for hours. I preferred those more poetic ones over Sloth. I love the melody, but Momo should step up her game and write more poetic lyrics again, I know she's better than this.

It's sad that I relate to these songs, but it brings me some kind of comfort that makes me live another day. I hope to heal myself, so thank you Mili making this song which brings me some comfort in my journey.
Being chronically ill, I somehow really love this song and relate in my own specific way. But then the lyrics say she goes online and gets shit on for every selfie. Or no matter if she's on time, if she's not early then the boss says she's late. Basically telling you that even if you do what you're told, even if you follow trends, nobody tells you that you're enough, you're always lacking something. This makes younger and younger people feel suicidal because they cannot meet these expectations and even at 10 years old, people ask so much of you that it's unbearable. Then there's the sloth. I think the slot represents ourselves without society's expectations. Even though the girl tries to fit in, in the mirror there's always a sloth. What are slots like? They're "lazy", chubby, awkward, slow, some may say ugly. But most people still find them cute and friendly. So by loving a sloth, by loving how awkward and weird they are, you can slowly love those parts of yourself too.

Thank you for the gorgeous song as always guys!! This one hit me, there’s so many sad truths in here. That second verse too- coming from someone who dealt with depression young, seeing her younger sister also self harm and talk about how lost the world is. That line about the kids really just- wow. And the end part- learning that it’s okay to not truly love yourself, to enjoy being alone but also keeping in mind that you don’t have to change yourself to be loved by others. Honestly, taking that step to say it’s okay to not be okay is the first big step in healing and learning to focus on you. Truly powerful stuff in this song I love it! So I feel like this song speaks to me in every way possible and it probably does for everyone listening as well. That's why we listen to Mili right? So I just want to say that I love you all and you're not alone :) There are so many people that are like you in this world but they are hidden in their rooms just like yourself and the only way you can find them is to randomly encounter them in person or find them by chance online. So don't give up and keep pursuing the things you enjoy and you will find others like you!

他人の行動に対して、裁判官気取りで独善的な正しさを押し付けたり、批評家気取りで他人にレッテルを張ったりする人たちは少なくない。
そんな世の中だから誰もが、何が正しいのか、何が粋なのか、何が流行っているのか、そういった価値観に寄り添うことに過敏になっている気がする。
でも、どれだけ無理をして他人の価値観に合わせて自分を捻じ曲げたとしても、結局ありのままの自分が否定されていることには変わりないし、とてもつらいはず。
人の言葉や価値観が、ひっそりと音もなくあなたの心を侵食して、荒々しく暴力的なまでに心身をずたずたに切り裂いてしまうかもしれない。
価値観の違う人たちと関わっていくうえで、他人の価値観に歩み寄っていく姿勢は大切だと思う。
それでも、無理をし続けることによって得られる笑顔がどのようなものであるかは鏡を見れば一目瞭然だ。
よくよく鏡を覗きこんでみれば、無理してつくろった笑顔があまりにぎこちないことに気づくはずだし、その笑顔が他人の価値観に真っ黒に塗りつぶされてしまっていることがわかるはず。
頑張りすぎている自分を休ませて、愛らしいナマケモノに身をゆだねてしまうことが私たちには必要なんじゃないかと思う。
「普通」でないことが理由で誰からも認められず、他人の価値観に自己を否定され続けてきた人間にとって、自分のことを認めて愛してあげるのは難しいことだと思う。
だけどたまには、周りにいる他人なんていないようなふりをして、鏡の向こう側から聞こえてくる自身の心の悲鳴に耳を傾けてあげてほしい。
きっと愛すべきナマケモノが自分に本当に必要なものを教えてくれるはず。

なにも出来ない自分にイライラしている時に聞きに来る精神安定剤
ちょうど、人間関係に悩んでいたのでこの歌にとても共感してしまいました。
I was feeling veeery bad. I've been constantly helping others and neglecting myself, and the people I help don't even acknowledge it, and this drains all the energy from me. As usual, I ended up hating myself for not loving myself enough.
This song came at the most serendipitous time possible. At "there's a slot with an awkward blackened smile" I found myself smiling again, and at "but can't you love a sloth?" I finally was able to let my tears out and cry. I'm feeling so much better and it's... Literally all thanks to this song. Than you sooo much, I'm so going to keep the image of the sloth in mind from now on, and I'll try to love her more!
