    We have very similar paths. I'm also going at this now that I'm in my 40s for the same reasons you did. I have Becker and I'm struggle with the ambiguity of some of the questions.

      That's great! It's never too late to do anything! As for the study materials, I don't think there is a perfect one out there, but I'm sure Becker is one of the best as far as I hear from my peers. Roger was great, but I had to Google and Reddit a lot!! :)

      Two months is the time it took from passing the first subject to passing the last subject. My first subject was FAR which I took about 2 months, so if you include that, it took me total of 4 months.

    • @sugarcpaus2091
      @sugarcpaus2091  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you for your comment and question! Roger is great! To answer your question, I cared more about how many hour I watch each day than sections. So, for example, if BEC had total of 20 hours of videos, I tried to watch everything in 5 to 6 days. Just focused on getting thru it as quickly as possible to move on to MCQ's. Hope it answers your question, but let me know if you need any clarifications.

    Great video and Congratulation! I have a couple questions to ask: 1. How did you prepare for SIMs? 2. Could you share how you studied for each section specifically?
    Thank you

    • @sugarcpaus2091
      @sugarcpaus2091  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you for your comments and questions. For SIM's, I didn't study until I got comfortable with MCQ's. Once you get comfortable with MCQ's, that means you pretty much understood the concept, so you should be able to get many of the SIM's correct, but yes, there are some really difficult ones. I just practiced as many questions as I can. I had Roger as my main review course, and Gleim and Ninja as supplement test banks, so I had sufficient questions to practice. As for how I studied for each section, yes, I'm planning to share that soon. I hope that answered your questions, but please let me know if you have further questions.

    did you study in the evening? how many hours? when would you recommend taking aicpa test? before mock exam or few days before exam?

    • @sugarcpaus2091
      @sugarcpaus2091  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I usually didn't study after 4pm, except for the last few days before the exam. Because I wake up at 2am, I'm too tired to study in the evening. I studied about 5 to 6 hours per day, mostly in the morning. I recommend taking AICPA sample test after getting comfortable with practice simulation questions, and before mock exam.

      How much did you study after power nap? For someone who studies starting at 9am, when should a power nap be recommended? Also when you start at 2am, did you take long breaks between 2am and 12pm?

    • @sugarcpaus2091
      @sugarcpaus2091  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I usually studied from 2:30am to 6:30am without long breaks, then ate breakfast and took the power nap. After that, I had to work on other things, and studied again from 2pm to 4pm. If you study from 9am, then I think you would be tired by early to mid-afternoon, and that would be an ideal time to take the power nap.

    • @sugarcpaus2091

      I wasn't able to remember everything either, so I had to write whatever I could memorize, then look at the textbook again, then write again, and did multiple rounds of that to complete my notes. And that's what helps you memorize, because you try hard, it sticks in your brain.
