Very good mod! The wider handlebar makes the scooter a lot more stable, which is why it was one of my first mods on my ti30!
Now I'm just waiting on receiving my new light switch and wiring to change and see if thats the only thing that got damaged after trying to connect a light to the horns 2 spade connectors🙈 which fried instantly.

If you mean the push button, just get an appropriate size sheet metal screw, line up the holes and secure them with the screw. I added two screws to mine to strengthen it. Watch this video starting at 8:45:

Nice, I have a TI-30 also. But its been sitting for 2 months on a crate because I am waiting for a new meter. The other one gets so hot on the power buttons that i am scared to leave the battery connected. I have ordered a new one and am waiting for it now. Have you had any problems with your display. I watch all your videos and am very happy with the results as I am sure you are. Keep going as your videos have been very helpful to me.

I still have only ridden it one time for the GPS speed verification video. Been modifying it ever since. Just about done now so will be doing some ride videos soon. I have other scoots and also just too hot here in the desert right now to do much riding. I have some new sinewave controllers which use a different display that I’ll be trying out sometime but want to do some testing with the stock controllers first so I can compare differences. With your scoot just sitting, try and make sure the voltage is as close to 62v as possible. You don’t want to leave it fully charged or drained.

@@Desert-Ecruising I just checked yesterday it was at 65.9. I have the alarm disconnected because of the heat problem and I didn’t want the voltage to drop too far. I find that keeping it fully charged does not affect the battery at all. I have a Zero9 that I have kept charged for three years and it is still fine. The battery still charges to 54.6 and pretty much keeps its charge. I used to build battery packs for RC-cars back in the day and I always kept them charged as well. I will lower it to 62v and see how it stands up.

LIPO and lithium ion batteries they say should be stored at 3.8v for a single cell which ends up to be about 61v for a 60v pack so I’ve always followed that reasoning. I had a viewer contact me about a different scoot. He left the charger connecting for a month while he was away. It killed his battery.

@@Desert-Ecruising yes that’s true because these chargers never actually stop charging. They go into maintenance mode and hitch is a much lower voltage , think slow charging. This is enough to cause damage if left unattended for any time. Ever charge your battery without you being there to intervene. The one time you do may be the time something goes wrong I’m with that 15.00$ charger. Always disconnect if the voltage has reached its threshold. If the battery is still low then you can leave it but never longer than an hour and a half. Your videos are some of the best I have seen please keep it up I enjoy and find them extremely useful. @scottfarley6867 Yeah I told the guy he killed the battery by doing that. It was a 48v pack. He ended up buying a 52v pack that I first bought 3 of for some 800w single motor scoots. I also installed 12 mosfet controllers and modified them for more torque. Fully charged I can hit 40mph and the acceleration is aggressive. Will be including it in some upcoming videos. Here’s an older video of it: th-cam.com/video/OP1BxaCcEfs/w-d-xo.html

I have basically the same scoot, yume y10. I thought the stock bars were horrendous, even dangerous. I switched to basically the same setup as you with 720mm bars and got rid of the stock clamp with that 3 inch extension that puts the bars past the front wheel.. the only nice thing about the stock bars is they collapse for transport but after the upgrade my riding approved so so so much. I can't suggest this upgrade enough and you can get the bars, clamp and even new grips for less than $50.. I just paid $42 on Amazon for all 3 items.. I believe this upgrade is a must.

i keep having to tighten the handlebar for the original one that comes with this scooter. and also do you have the link to buy the tools to tighten the two bolts on the scooter the big round ones/??

Unscrew the handlebar hardware one at a time and put some thread sealer on the screws before retightening them. Blue Loctite should work.
I just bought this wrench that should work. I’ll let u know once I get it: a.co/d/ii8wHZD

if i put some thread sealer i wont be able to take the handle bars off and fold them if i decide to fold up the scooter. i'm referring to the middle of that handlebar where you have to twist one way to tighten it...@@Desert-Ecruising

@@MissHitAllTheTimethe new handlebar I installed is thicker than the original so the original mount will not fit it, so yes, buy the riser as well if you are going to get the same handlebar I did.
