    If you're not planning to fold it, you can replace the folding mechanism bolt with a M6 120mm hex bolt, a washer and a locking nut (you'll want to spray the bolt head and washer purple to match). The bolt head and washer prevents the lever and smaller side lever from being able to be pulled down.
    I found it a lot safer using the 120mm hex because while it's originally able to fold; the more you tighten the 10mm nut underneath eventually it gets to the end of the thread and starts to loosen the thread on the top of the bolt which causes the folding/steering to be loose

      hey man! You are life saver! I did that but i used 100mm instead of 120mm because i didnt find here that exactly hex bolt, so it works better than the factory nice tip!

      Yep, I did that a while ago on all my large scooters. I never folded them because I saw that it was the weak points. I replaced all the factory bolts with steel and no more springs inside they are all super stable. any one of them fits in the back of my Explorer fully extended.

    In mine I had to put some vcoil threads and I made in my 3d printer some kind of ring to place between the steering tube and the steering column and that helps to take out some steering clearances, thanks again for these videos!!! lose the love of your big wrench and grind it up the the thickness that you need!

    It can still be folded, just it takes a crap ton more force to pull down the lever to get it to fold

      If you haven’t seen it yet, here’s my only ride on it when I first got it to test the true top speed:

    Any ideas how I can fix my steering on my handlebar??? I think I rode to much in the rain and didn't get to dry it with a towel and now looks like some part of my scooter got rusted mayb eand my handlebar when I try to turn it is stiff and not smooth and very hard to turn feels like stuck at times. What would I need to fix all the problem I just described. Lubricant, grease? Which area?

    My steering is mad stiff and feels stuck very hard to turn the handle bar... do you guys think PB Blaster vs Liquid Wrench and maybe wd-40 will help or work? i don't also want to weaken the bolts or nut and don't want it to break or snap open over long time use. i think its rust that's causing this but will any of those work to fix it or do you recommend using any of the 3 i mention or is there something else better?

      The blue one fits the top nut. The other one is not really useful for the bottom nut. Cannot fit all the way on:

      i wonder if i can walk my scooter into a home depot and find out from those people show them my nuts and have them find the one that works for my scooter and then use it before leaving lmfao...@@Desert-Ecruising

    When your able to take your scooter out for test ride are you able to test them at different motor power output like 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% while using single and dual motor modes, and also while using turbo single and turbo dual mode and also eco single mode and eco dual mode?? Really, wanted to know what are the speed when using gear 1, 2, and 3 for those motor power output???

    • @Desert-Ecruising
      @Desert-Ecruising  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I really only ride in third gear and switch between single /dual mode as needed. I can go any speed in third gear that 1st and 2nd gear can do just by using the throttle. So the lower gears are of no use to me, same with Eco mode which I don’t have anymore. Needed that push button to run my accessory lights.

      was able to hit 50mph on a slight downhill on a bridge while using gear 3 and dual motor with motor power set to 75% power output tonight@@Desert-Ecruising

    • @Desert-Ecruising
      @Desert-Ecruising  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@MissHitAllTheTimeThen you were really going around 43,44mph. The display is nowhere near accurate. It’s also not linear so you can’t adjust it so it’s accurate across all speeds. Just get a GPS speedometer app on your phone and a good phone holder and you’ll always know exactly how fast you are really going. I hit 48mph at full power. Seems to be about the max.

    Your supposed to put the lever down than tighten it up

      If you tighten it with the lever down, you cannot put the lever back up.
