How to Make Dutch Oven Cobbler (Peaches, Cake Mix, Sprite & Butter)

- Learn how to make a dutch oven peach cobbler. This is a great recipe for camping or a backyard campfire. Here are the ingredients you'll need:
- 1 box of yellow or vanilla cake mix
- 2 (21 OZ) cans of peach pie filling
- 1 can of Sprite
- 1 stick of butter
Doing it this way does make the cobbler quite sweet, so if you like your dessert a bit less sweet, you can skip the Sprite (or use a bit of milk/water instead), you can use pie filling with less sugar added, or you can leave the liquid out of the pie filling (and just keep the fruit).

Oh yeah, my mom calls this "dump cake" because you just dump everything together. I think I've had this before (but baked in an oven) with cherry pie filling and chocolate cake mix. It was amazing. This looks great too! I want to try this next camping trip.

And chocolate and cherry does sound like a good combo. Cherry pie filling is my favorite for doing in the pie irons.

Ehat a coincidence!! We just came back from a shopping center and there was this fire pit along with aspark screen along with being sold for a good bargain about 60 dollars worth andI couldn’t help but notice how my 15 year-old boy got So overly interested in telling me mom it’s on a discount if only we had a place for it or had a fit environment where lighting a fire would be allowed. I got glad seeing him liking the idea of barbecuing but.. buying one would mean you got to get the entire gear for it. haha Coal, skewers, long tong…etc… but hopefully we someday do and take it to the beach even if it meant having got to tracel by Taxi. Theboy deserveshaving a good time no matter how little we were. ☺️
