      Because what he stated is true, and for truth or facts, you don't need to keep saying it over and over, like the sun rises from the east side, so we will say " oh that's sun rise ", do we need to add " so that direction is east? ", no we don't, because that will make us look stupid if we do, I don't know about who is the GOAT, but MJ is clearly the better player than LBJ, way better in my opinion.

    To have been blessed to watch MJ play at UNC until he left the NBA for good, no player since MJ has ever dominated both ends of the court consistently…and the one stat that no one will ever come close to is the fact that MJ NEVER lost more than 2 games in a row for 8 consecutive years…Nov.1990-June 1998…there’s a video on TH-cam that will blow your mind about it, I think it’s titled “It took 8 years for MJ to accomplish this feat”…🎤🔥👍👽

    I feel like that scoring titles one is huge because LeBron fans love to point out how LeBron has the most points ever but he has played most of his career in one of, if not the easiest era to score points in and he only managed to top the league once. Whereas Jordan led the league 10 times in arguably the hardest era to score in. It's the same reason I don't respect modern QB's in the NFL as much the rules have been changed to make your life easier while guys like Joe Montana and Dan Marino were doing that stuff while guys were trying to kill them. Sport just aint what it used to be man.

    • @allpraisestothemosthigh9418
      @allpraisestothemosthigh9418 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +18

      Sports across the board no longer have that "competitive toughness" from the past and it's also a reason why I personally can't rank today's athletes in high regard. The substance is missing and I'm supposed to act as if I don't notice.

    • @crater044
      @crater044 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      People constantly blame Brady for that evolution and sure, his ACL injury was a big reason as to why refs really started doing more to protect the QB but Peyton Manning was the one who started with the rules changing to benefit the QB in terms of stats when he and the Colts complained to the NFL after the 2003 AFC Championship Game. Very next season, the illegal contact rule was heavily enforced and Manning broke Marino's TD record.
      But even in the early 2010s, there still felt like there was a pecking order with Manning, Brady, Rodgers and Brees being the top dogs and everybody was underneath. The numbers were inflated but there was at least still some balance to it.
      Now it's gotten way out of control. Completion percentage is a joke now, INT numbers are low because it's easier to throw the ball, yards are inflated, stats are inflated. You breath wrong on a QB and it's a penalty. A lot of just good QBs are putting up better statistical numbers than legends of the past. It's the same thing with basketball.
      People really think that some of these "just good" players are better than all time greats from the past simply because "better stats" in this inflated era.

    • @simplysimple7628
      @simplysimple7628 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      You are spot on correct!! It is the truth. Marino and Montana and guys before them had to be extremely durable and tough. Slowly these leagues and organizations had the need to make it easier with all the new rules. Just the truth…..

      Michael Jordan has 13 statistical clowns 10 scoring titles 3 steals titles, 13 of the 5 major stat categories. This is not a debate LeBronze James can win 8 championships how many future hall of fame players will have to leave their teams or who will he join to do so? I mean 2nd & 3rd best player on his championship teams has been All-stars on other teams no? Wade Bosh Allen Love Irving Davis Rondo Howard. How about the other players he's played with where he failed to win championships like the 4 top 75 players of all-time on 1 roster the 2022 LA Lakers predicted to be a 60 win team failed to win 35 Russell Westbrook LeBron James Dwight Howard Carmelo Anthony & Anthony Davis on 1 roster give Jordan this amount of help in Washington. Michael Jordan status at 1 is not touchable. LeBronze will play longer an rack up more stats by way of playing longer so Joe Flacco is better than Joe Montana right? LeBronze stats doesn't make him the greatest remember his fans tear down era's to lift him up. Russell era didn't tear down Mikan, Magic era didn't tear down Russell, Jordan era didn't tear down Magic, Kobe Duncan & Shaq didn't tear Jordan era now, after 2010 the crazed superteam era kicked in an now we see a superstar who is great but he labeled himself Goat while active in the NBA with a 3-6 championship record his fans in return tears down Kobe Duncan Shaq Jordan Magic Russell Mikan all these era's are now disrespected to place stats over winning. It's literally pathetic.

    Kobe vs Lebron (using this criteria)
    Accomplishments = Kobe ( Lebron was gift wrapped many of his "accomplishments" MVPs for example)
    Longevity = LeBalco
    Winning = Kobe
    Statistics = Lebron (however i would have to know the context of where kobe ranks amongst SGs)
    Eye Test = Kobe
    Eye test weaknesses
    Kobe weakness = Sometimes over aggressive, took many difficult shots
    Lebron = Freethrows (5th all time in misses)
    Not good on ball defender, (KD got two finals MVPs on his head playing the same position)
    Turnover prone Dominates the ball all the time
    Not a good midrange shooter
    Needs 1.5-2 other all star players in there primes just to be competitive
    Conclusion =Kobe>lebron

      Kobe was the closest. The big difference that not many folks talk about was the 48" Air Jordan jump/hang time. This gave Jordan a huge advantage because he was able to change his shot 2 or 3 times in the air and his defenders were already on their way down to the floor. His leaping ability was the reason his fade away was damn near indefensible. I dont remember anybody ever blocking the famous Jordan fade away. If Kobe was able to get up 48" off the floor, their would be a much stronger case for comparison....i agree with you 100. Nobody played like MJ

      @@thomasisrael673Kobe was way too inefficient to seriously challenge Jordan. He was just as likely to shoot his team out of the game as he was to keep them in it/win it.
      MJ also damn sure didn't have a 48" vertical from 1995-98. It was probably well under 40" by then, but that's when his fadeaway was most lethal.

    Easily the BEST comparison on the internet. That video breaks it down so obviously and accurately. It blows me away how it is even an ACTUAL argument. Truly is a waste of time. I am a 78 born. I watched Bird, Magic and MJ all in their entirety. Well Bird and Magic I was very young. But my family are HUGE fans of the sport. Well used to be then🤦🏽‍♂️😆 Not so much nowadays. Too much money involved. Not enough hunger and passion to COMPETE and WIN. The driving force to play sports today is MONEY. And it has truly RUINED the “LOVE” of the game. Athletes then played to win and compete first. Then get paid due to PRODUCTION. They’re worth. Had to prove themselves first. God do I miss those days and the feeling it gave us diehard fans. 😔🙏🏼🤙🏼❤️

    Watching Jordan was an event. If this video doesn’t convince someone of the GOAT. Then. They are in denial. He was alien. Perfect basketball player. And. The hardest worker and most competitive. And don’t forget. Did not load manage. As a matter of fact. Jordan himself said this “I refuse to sit out. Because this night a father and son are using, what could be money they saved up for months , to watch me play. And. I refuse to let them down. It is my responsibility to play for them. This just shows his mentality. It was an honor and privilege to watch him play. There is another video. The ultimate Jordan mixtape. Every time I watch it. I tear up. For some reason as I was watching Jordan. I thought he would play forever.

  • @Logholders
    @Logholders 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +10

    I would never watch a 50+ minute reaction video usually but you are one of the very few (for me) where your voice is so perfect for such a thing.
    The thing I never liked about Lebron is how he played into the ‘The Chosen One’ before actually making it. I get it was the media doing but he leaned into it instead of letting it occur naturally. It seemed to just kinda snowball into all these other things he has done like the decision or announcing that he is the best ever after that championship.
    Then you have the non basketball related to basketball stuff like the Hong Kong / China stuff. By no means is he dumb but his life has been basketball since being a baby. He didn’t go to college… why he trying to lecture the world on politics. Save that for your next career if you’re into it.

    It's crazy how they call LeBron the all time scoring champion....He played 21 seasons so far, and just signed a 2 year deal worth over $100 million....And he only led the league in scoring one time! Plus several other current players and several former players have higher career scoring averages. And LeBron has load managed his way to his 22nd season, he has sat out more than 300 games so far in his career....but that rest (and his alleged PED use) have allowed him to play longer....plus he barely breaks a sweat when he's on the floor, nobody ever defends him...they let him shoot wide open, or give him a wide open lane....MJ on the other hand led the league in scoring 10 times in his first 13 seasons, and led the league in steals 3 times, and has the highest career points per game average. The true scoring champion, and MJ did it against tough defense. Double and triple teams....LeBron doing his goofy thing where he is putting a crown on his head at games should alone be enough to disqualify him....it's childish, and just dumb.... ridiculous....If MJ hadn't retired and just played straight through till he was 38, 39 or 40 he would have had 50,000 points on 33 points per game and probably 10 rings.

AD was a dominant generational talent that was clearly the better choice to be the number one option and he got pushed to the side so LeBron could stay pad. A lot of people say that Jordan's two seasons with the Wizards negatively affected his legacy. And when I say a lot of people, I mean LeNonGOAT James apologists. For me, it is quite the opposite. After three years of retirement, MJ proved he could still play at a high level at age 39 and 40, plus the injuries he endured those seasons. Ironically, I think LeBron's current run with the Lakers has negatively affected his legacy more than MJ's run with the Wizards ever could. Putting aside the 2020 Covid-19 Mickey Mouse Invitational championship, LeBarry Bonds James' run as a Laker has been very underwhelming. Not only the lack of success for Los Angeles, but the drama and shenanigans have made the last six seasons a joke. And now, with his son Bronny and puppet coach Reddick in the mix, LeBalco James' legacy is in the shits. One more thing, LeFlop James has been the defacto 'face of the NBA' since 2010 when he ran to Miami. Since then, the NBA has declined in quality and popularity, and that's mainly because of how much of a bad influence LeWhiner James has been to the NBA culture. That's why I say LeNonGOAT James is the King of a fallen kingdom.

    DANGERProduction is being far too kind to LeBron.
    As one of the biggest MJ fans, I am fully aware that he got megastar treatment, even more so than his co-superstars (and no, he is not a god and he made mistakes; he just - out of all basketball players - came closest to perfection; as humanly possible). But he also got called on travelling and fouls on a regular basis; on the road he would get a clean block or a steal and the ref would call a foul. The refs on the opposite team's homecourt would not give him an inch, so it would balance itself a little bit, little bit. Yes, MJ would also complain often, but never without a reason, and if he argued too aggressively, he would get tech foul. When he finally got paid what he deserved, it motivated him even more and with every game he wanted to prove to everyone, that he deserves that money.
    Meanwhile LeBron's arsenal:
    1. Anti-clutch plays, like the play at 43:43 - 43:47. If you slow it down, you can see that LeBron took 4 steps and still couldn't make that simple layup.
    2. Remembers nothing from training with Hakeem.
    3. Without the ball he just won't move.
    4. Outside of clutch situations, many of his points come from constant uncalled travelling (much more than anyone else).
    5. And another MASSIVE portion of his points comes from him committing offensive fauls, such as 25:44 - 25:47 , where he rams his shoulder against the defender's ribcage (twice!) full spead and no ref is calling it. This has been his move from day one.
    No wonder this princess is considered unstoppable by many, when he's allowed to abuse the rules. When his games get analysed properly, one can see that larger number of his points, especially in the last few years are the garbage time points. Majority of his career resembles the 100 m race from the Sacha Baron Cohen's movie Dictator.

    Yeah, like you said, when people are telling the truth and accessing real memories, their eyes go up and to the left because that's how you access the visual memory part of your brain. It is possible to remember truly without looking up and to the left, but any sort of recall that involves accessing past memories with a visual component (which is more often than not) will result in looking up and a bit to the left.
    Also, looking down, in addition to shame, is often what people do when they are creating a story. Aka: lying. Again it's a brain function thing. Like try to invent a totally original story (not involving true memory) and notice what your eyes do (kind blank look with eyes tilting downward is the usual).

    As a Cowboys and Bulls fan, I'm sorry you had to be on the other side of that. As far as it goes, though, I understand how it feels - in 1995 my college football team, Florida, got pasted 65-27 by Nebraska in the National Championship game. The feeling is even worse when your team plays like it didn't even belong there.
    LeBron isn't as good as MJ for all the reasons listed - effort, skill, and evolution (LeBron's game has never really changed or improved, MJ changed the way he played and scored so that he could begin to and continue winning championships in the NBA.) MJ also turned perceived weaknesses into strengths - the media said he couldn't pass and distribute the ball, so he goes out in the finals against the best passer in the game, Magic, and averages more assists that finals than anyone ever has except Magic. The next year vs Portland people said he couldn't shoot threes, so he makes a then finals record number of threes. The drive just isn't there with LeBron, and it looks exactly like the problems people complain about with younger millennials and GenZ - they expect it to be easy, don't work hard enough to get the results they want, then complain and make excuses when they fail.
    Edit to add: Even though LeBron has some great skills and has had an impressive career, his complaining, lack of effort, and selfishness would prevent me from choosing him if I was putting together a team of the best of all time. If I had one game or one series that I just HAD to win he wouldn't make the cut.

    I’m going to push back on Lebron’s “longevity” argument. Besides the fact that he plays in an era that’s become increasingly less physical, and he doesn’t put his body on the line for loose balls or rebounds or anything, the “longevity” argument would only work if Lebron was winning like MJ or even close to MJ. He never did and the more time Lebron plays, the more his longevity counts against him. Jordan won more and accomplished more in far less time. Lebron is just continuing to defame his own legacy the more he plays. These former coaches and players placing Lebron at #2 are doing that to help promote the modern game. The claims have zero merit. It’s just words. Like Lebron’s “longevity”. What difference does longevity make if you’re not winning during it. Lebron only gets his stats because he runs his system. Running his system has been a detriment to every team he’s played on. Opponents are fine with letting Lebron get his meaningless stats because his stats don’t contribute to winning or a winning culture. Longevity for every other player before Lebron used to be considered “just hanging on too long”. The media changed the narrative for a woefully underwhelming Lebron hoping that he’ll catch Jordan. That “hope” is working in the complete opposite way than Klutch Sports, Nike and the corporate media had wished. Good enough. That’s what you get for trying to manipulate the reality of this so called debate

    Zo's and Tim's Heat. Mookie, Smith, Laettner and Mutombo's Hawks are getting glossed over as well in the 90's. Those teams were tough as hell as well.

    This is one of the greatest tragedies of NBA History. I can't stand Lebron, but that's because of what he could have been in comparison to what he has become. He crippled his career by taking shortcuts; trying to surpass MJ, instead of trying to be the best version of himself, as possible. The weaknesses mentioned in this video, are still present along with others (turnovers) and he refuses to improve. Kobe became the best version of himself when he stopped trying to be like MJ. He still remained competitive and understood winning was more important than being a MJ clone. He became more fearless and took criticism, whenever he failed. Lebron is far from that type of character and he would become unfriendly towards anyone that doesn't kiss his butt. Now, most people don't respect his legacy and will put the other NBA greats like Bird, Magic, Kareem, etc over him because they ran the gauntlet with dignity and pride; without excuses. It's a shame.

    Real question here. I have seen Lebron for his entire career, same did with Kobe and most of MJ ( I was a bit 2 young back in the 80s so I don't recall his 3-4 first seasons), coming back to Lebron, and this is a no hate question... What is he really good at? I ask this because even when he got into the league back in 03 with all the hype and shit, all I saw from him all of the time was the same moves, the same passes, the same layups, the same charges into the paint, it was just a player without any creativity that excelled at nothing, don't get me wrong he was great but he wasn't the best at anything, he has never been the best at anything, so he's a very good player but not anywhere close the top 10 level.... And now you add to this his antics, the lies, the excuses, thee flops, the blames, the PEDs and the stupid dramas, man how can somebody like this man, if all of this drama was back in the 90s or 2000s he would never step out of the bench.
    I end with this. Think about the great players of all time, Kareem, MJ, Kobe, Magic, Bird, etc. you can pinpoint exactly what is that made them great, what was their special talent and skill, you knew you where not stopping Kareem, MJ or Kobe, you knew Magic was going to make the impossible happen and you knew Bird was not going to miss the clutch...
    What is LeBron real talent? What makes him a top 10 contender? All he is is an above average player that has played 21 years and counting... The only moves I recall from him are illegal travels and charges, and belive me I'm trying here.

      LeBron is arguably the best at driving to the basket. But he only gets away with this because he never gets called for traveling. If he got called for traveling that would eliminate 80% of LeBron's offensive bag

      @@Christo_Trismegistus I mean, I get your point but if you have to travel or charge, you are not the best. you are just a bully and a cheater.

    A lot of MJ's shots were long 2's so I'd bet if he grew up with a 3pt line like players drafted in the late 90s and after did he'd be a lot better at 3pt shooting.

      You're crazy. LeBron is the GOAT because MJ's sons never made it to the NBA. The day Bronny got drafted, that made LeBron the official GOAT in all of sports history

    not trying to blow smoke up my own a55 but this video takes so many points I have been making for years and years on youtube, down to the per game VORP stat, stuff literally nobody was saying at the time anywhere. I was making these comments to anybody who would read them on endless videos here...looks like somebody did actually read them, Danger Productions 😉
    But I'm glad, it needs to be said...

    MJ is my goat because he had respect for the game. He took loses on the chin and came back better. He didn't cheat. He didn't stack the deck. He never ran from a challenge.
