The first time I watched this match, I was in the 7th grade wrestling for the first time in my life trying to figure out what the sport was like. now I'm a senior about to wrestle quite possibly my last match in a week and I'm still coming back to this video 5 years later. this is the best sport in the world and this match really just brought me to tears

Oliver looked gassed after 1:30 of the 2nd period. By the end his mouth was wide open just trying to catch his breath. Love the end though. Metcalf just shrugged his shoulders like, "What? You gave me the opportunity to put you on your back... What do you expect?" Great match.

In this match, the sportsmanship was hardly there, and while the wrestling was great and entertaining, it was not quite at the dake vs burroughs level

For those of you bringing up the match with Caldwell where he push him while doing a backflip, go back and watch it. They asked Metcalf why he shoved him and Metcalf said because they were still time on the clock and guess what, there was. Just like this match there was still time on the clock.
Why do losers like you always spend time analyzing the push at the end of the Caldwell match. When you should be analyzing how Caldwell dominated him that match. And spladeled metcalf in another match!! Analyze that!

The problem Have with Brent Metcalf is that he has already won a bunch of matches and it would have been much more equitable had he let his opponent win some. But no, he had to be selfish and win just one more.
Dude the commentators for the NCAA tournament are far more interesting to listen to, and yeah Bader has his annoying moments and other moments where they're fun to listen to. Im not cussing you out damn dude

If it was a 1 point match and it would have played out the exact same way but this time Metcalf holds on to him when he shoved him and guess what, the refs would've gave him two and people would be saying why would he do that flip with time on the clock.
