I've traveled to Italy three times, and my favorite thing is to stumble across local markets like this. I haven't been to Southern Italy yet, but next time that's where Id like to visit.
Stefano, I love how you do your video's. I like how you show leaving your house and walking to the market. It seems like such a small thing but I get the actual experience of being there. You are living my dream btw. My entire adult life I've wanted to come to Italy but I've been afraid to go by myself because I don't know anyone there. I've watched a bunch of your video's and Davide's and I feel like I have friends there now. Thank you for sharing your journey!
Just go! I didn’t know anyone either. Get on Duolingo and learn a little Italian. Go in October or April when it’s cheaper and the weather is good. Fly to Rome and take a train somewhere. I’m glad you like my videos, but you owe it to yourself to make your own videos! Good luck and thanks for watching.
Thank you for the tour. Each town has a similar market on different days. Fun experience. We've been to Italy and Salento a dozen times. We love Italy, the food and the lifestyle. I prefer the small macellerias, grocers, cheese shops, enotecas and bakers. Though the grocery chains do have very good meats and fresh seafood, too. Do you use a gimbal? Please consider walking a bit slower and closer so viewers get a better sense of what is presented. Thanks.
Davide, please tour a Flea Market or antiques market! Also, any place that has architectural salvage, like doors, fixtures, stone, cementina, etc. if they exist. 👍👍
@@CasaStefano I can’t wait to be there to see the salvage yards…there’s something quite satisfying about ‘melting’ off multiple paint layers to uncover the wood beneath the paint.

Hi guys! It's every Saturday, as far as I know. It's held at the big car park on the north side of the Centro Storico. It starts early and they tend to start shutting down after 11am
Sadly, I didn't buy anything. I wanted to buy some fruit and cheese, but I was due to leave in two days and already had some food at the house I needed to finish. Next time!
