    I personally use the Titan One cause it holds the balls inside, instead of having to pack them separately 😊

    I ve solved the problem about backing up after the serve. Before every serve I back up 2 feet behind baseline before the serve

    In your opinion, is it better in a league to use an an "ace" serve that is maybe less than 50% consistent, or just do an easy serve that's 90% consistent? I'm having a tough time in actual league play with the "ace" serve that's very top spin heavy with lots of pace, but my serve is very consistent when I'm alone hitting balls by myself.

    • @pickleballplaybook
      @pickleballplaybook  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Keep practicing it in pressure filled experiences like league. That’s the only way it will become consistent. Because like you say, it’s consistent when you’re by yourself…. The only difference being PRESSURE. That said, it’s more important to hit the serve in when playing in a serious match. Confidence is key

    Hey Austin...I'm a complete newbie, but athletic and do CrossFit. So, I just got a paddle and went to practice serves today. I think that I don't have a problem with the pace, spin, getting the ball in the court with what I was doing. But I was dropping the ball and hitting it off the bounce. When I tried hitting it without the bounce, the serves weren't as good. Should I just keep serving it off the bounce? Does it matter? Thank you!!

      @pickleballplaybook  21 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Yeah keep doing what works best for you! Always a good idea to practice both though cause some tournaments only allow volley serves!

    Great video, you might want to also point out according to the new rules 1) contact point must be below hip and 2) top of paddle at contact must be below the wrist
    Thx

    • @pickleballplaybook
      @pickleballplaybook  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I did mention this. But that hip rule only applies to pros at the PPA. Hope that helps! It’s below waist for the rest of us

    Fast serves come back fast and that may not be what you want. I hit higher slower serves to those that like to hit hard back

    • @pickleballplaybook
      @pickleballplaybook  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Fast serves come back slow so long as you get them deep. That’s why I love drill number 4! 👍
