That was Rob from Coyote Bushcraft in NH @CBCNH. He's awesome. I took a 3 day class from him up in Maine. Excellent teacher, super knowledgeable, and incredibly supportive. Really loves what he does and taught me so much. Can't recommend him enough. Ryan should have at least given the company a shoutout.
For someone who didn't know how to build a shelter, this was built really well. Ryan you almost had the door right, but instead of a rock a branch going horizontally across the other branches and winding the string around it with each log and you'd have a door
i had a mental confusion breakdown because i don’t know what you said in building a door as i thought you said that ryan’s door is what you meant i also had no grammar in that sentence so it’s also a mistake
I love how excited Ryan gets about moss. Like I never thought about how amazing moss is but seeing it from someone who doesn't just have moss in their backyard. It really gives you a new perspective.

Most of my best memories are playing in the forest when I was 10. Me and my cousin liked to build forts and paths,we’d play for hours. When I turned 11 I got a ps4, barely go in the forest anymore but when I do, it brings back so many memories. As someone who has spent a week on Big Munson Island and spent their free time "sticking" (building with various sticks) I can agree that this is honestly one of the most fun and rewarding activities I've ever participated in! 10/10 would recommend
