    Hi, I love the way you've shown weft interlocking and the close ups of it. Also the wat you showed what it looks like in the different shapes and the pattern that's created in the edges.
    Thankyou so much for this in depth tutorial.

    I’m wanting to try some traditional Navajo shapes/patterns, so this technique is invaluable.
    I also appreciated Your comments at the end regarding the different appearances created by interlocking at different intervals.
    Looking at close-ups of Antique/Vintage Navajo rugs I’ve noticed that the edges to geometric shapes often have the feathery-look You’ve explained; I now suspect that the Weavers probably interlocked approx every 3 rows.
    (Will have to experiment!)
