You don’t need to be a primate specialist to know that this troop went to a trauma since they weren’t eat , everybody’s looked sad and observe the silverback we could see he wasn’t happy since he was quiet not being his playful self a trademark of him. And the raucous was created by the old female and her daughter and again we don’t need to be a specialist to know that she is already to old and is created problems for the troop. Another thing gorillas have 98% percent of our DNA and sometimes it’s to spot their emotions!

No animals should be kept in cages/ enclosures. Those that cannot be rehabilitated in their natural habitat should live in natural reserves where humans are allowed to minimally intervene to ensure they survive.

Shabani still looks sad and he needs another female to cheer him up. The zoo strategic of waiting for Nene to die so Aí would feel better in regards to mate with him it’s making Shabani very sad and no energetic like he always was!
Is that their strategy? So they use modern medicines to keep these gorillas alive at least 10 years longer then they would be and let that ruin the family dynamics. Cause it seems pretty clear that Nene wants her son to be the silverback and her position as undead alpha female has let her establish that.

@@devonporter7278 I guess you are an expert at marginalizing opinions you do not like. Think about it off line, you do not have to respond. The same issue I describe applies to a 55 year old silverback(Winston?) they have in the US. And the young silverback who should take over is hated for his attacks on the one who is being kept in power only by the desires of his keepers. But you go away and think about it.
@@gregsutton2400 I feel the need to raise my opinion online (Sorryyyy). The power to stay on top is nothing the keepers can "desire". Although, it sounds like somewhere someone should have the power to command a separation of the young one and possibly put him in a "bachelor" group, or introduce him to unrelated females away from his birth troop.
