    Lots of great info and he practices on many students so they can feel it. Many traditional teachers withheld info and mysticised 'soft power' and just trained with thin and small students. Westerners always questioned if the art could work with better opponents. Even the Yip Man movies show wingchun had this issue. This shows exactly how WC can be used and how good it can work.It always shows the students are getting feel power and get used to hits. Another criticism of many teachers who avoid pain and realistic scenarios in favour of endless rolling hands and no attacks.

    No Dean, you're wrong. It IS an attack art if done properly and you know the WHOLE SYSTEM. People like Wong Shun Leung, and William Cheung made it that way. It's just a matter of learning it properly and completely, using the ten concepts as your guideline.

    Let him fight in MMA and we see how good he is.Or any other fullcontact martial art.Why WT fighters never compete in such a fight?

    I agree somewhat. However, there are systems that train to kill with NO RULES ever in their minds. Though I agree any MMA guy pose a threat and most systems do not know how to counter a REAL shoot in. Some systems (Few and Far Between) train to kill where MMA is train to win by points. There should be respect on both sides and I too agree the MMA "Rules" argument is invalid. Plus MMA fighters are much more conditioned. Respect MMA, but MMA must respect the warrior arts.

    Plus in an MMA match your allowed to tap and the fight stops. If that MMA fighter was on the street he would be breaking limbs and choking out people out unconscious. MMA can still kill if they wanted they just don't promote that aspect. They actually get in the cage and prove how effective their art is while other arts use excuses like 'my art is too deadly for sport. I could kill you in one move' is total BS.

  • @MrChrisgabber
    @MrChrisgabber 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Yeah that's right because you fight MMA doesn't mean automatically you are good.But I want to see some Videos of Fullcontact fights of WT/WC fighters.Because a demo is not a prove of a real situation.By the way I'm not a MMA fighter I'm from Kick/Thaiboxing.I trained a little bit MMA sometimes.

  • @MrChrisgabber
    @MrChrisgabber 11 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Yeah and we never see that.I can talk also a lot.Did you believe everything what somebody said?And when it is true:Who was the opponent?Some untrained idiots or high class fighters?Did you see what I mean?

  • @MAcritique
    @MAcritique 11 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    So fighting MMA proves how good you are? Vitor Belfort going up against Anderson? So are you saying Vitor sucks, or Chuck Liddell? How is it that you get older in MMA, you are irrelevant? MMA is a young mans game. Period. The # of over 40 are minimal. Why? There are tens of thousands of MMA fighters, How many are good? No matter what its always up to the individual, not the art.

  • @MAcritique
    @MAcritique 11 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    First off, MMA is very demanding on a personal and psychical level. WT/WC is about progression and you say why arent there WT fighters? Anderson Silva studies Wing Chun and I contribute that to his success and for him being so open to other Martial Arts. Boxing, Mauy Thai, and Jiu Jitsu is not MMA. The great fighters are the ones who are adaptive. if you stick to the primary 3, you better be awesome. Otherwise, Wing Chun could only help. The close mindedness of MMA is disappointing.

    so what is need is that , someone show wc how real broke arms or legs so you can tell woooo this is so great? that is not the point.. this is not attack art, and it will never be.. wc i s all about control, and def. wc is all about if your life is in danger, then you use it. but how can i talk with you about wc when you dont know basics of it? only thing i can say, start learn wc, and then tell me what you think. cheers...

  • @MrChrisgabber
    @MrChrisgabber 11 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    No MMA is everything.Wrestling,Karate,TKD etc are also MMA parts.The point is I hear so much talking how WT/WC guys do this and do that but I never saw a single video.And this is only with WT/WC.I have no problem when somebody wants to train WT/WC but they should not talk so much when they are not train open minded with other arts(sparring etc).There are not all WT/WC guys like this I mean but many.

  • @MAcritique
    @MAcritique 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hey Liee, I say this all the time. If you are so tough, Offer a personal challenge to Emin. He is in your area a few times a year. Stop trolling on the net. You know what they say about people who brag on the internet right?

  • @MrChrisgabber
    @MrChrisgabber 11 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Yeah but in demos of WT/WC I never saw a guy from an other style when they show something.Like in this video where are the real kickboxer,real situations?Because you let somebody perform the style on an other art doesn't mean that it is this style in reality.
    And I thought you WT/WC guys are so controlled,why you can't use or techniques without dead possibility?
    I had so much talking with you guys but it is almost the same result."Our techniques are deadly so we can't fight against other styles"

  • @MrChrisgabber
    @MrChrisgabber 11 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    blablabla.There are some things that work and there are guys who can fight but the most is fantasy.It is not the reality on the street against a SKILLED opponent.

  • @MrChrisgabber
    @MrChrisgabber 11 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    And you think a MMA fighter hold on the rules of MMA in a street fight?They adapt their style and respect also no rules on the street.And your deadly moves is an excuse for not compete against others.Any other guy can also kick to the groin or something and you can block also this technique.If you make no sparring and sparring with other styles how do you know how they work in real life?

    I Don't like him because , he teaches that Wing Chun ( Correct spelling ) take 15 to 20 years to become a Master . Not True !
