I did this repair and my throttle response is good to rev up, but releasing the trigger does not return to idle/lower rpm. Any idea how to adjust the cable tension/spring for the throttle?
metal things are called pawls and they are bad. i found them once but then couldnt find them again. i would look on ebay and amazon to see if you can find new ones they are bad. just look up ryobi pawls the metal ones are all the same.
@@smallengineguys , I have the same model blower. My pull cord broke yesterday, and I took it apart by following this video. Mine isn't broken, so how do I replace just the cord??
unfortunately I don't have a video on that. i cant explain with words how to do it either. when i get another that i can show i will but there is no telling when that will be. may be just easier to get the new recoil it was very inexpensive.

yeah there isnt. id take some spray oil on all the cable ends and moving parts.
