They also played "oui oui" for Canada (to their defense, they were in Montréal), but that didn't work at all. It could have made sense, though, as the original lyrics to the Canadian national anthem were in French: "Ô Canada, terre de nos aïeux, ton front est ceint de fleurons glorieux..." But French Canadians (mostly Québécois, but not only), now represent about 25% of the Canadian population, so other than for the fact that they were standing in Montréal as they were recording this clip, "oui oui" was not a very good clue... How to you play "maple syrup" on the violin? :-)

Turkish tunes are mix of many , so when asked to play a Turkish Tune and you play Arabic tunes it does not make much sense, then because he could have play Greek tunes, since Turks also inspired from them, but he simply played Arabic Tunes.
